On some maps, a pak is a bad idea, use your best judgement. No one mentioned shreks as a soft counter while you tech to T3, it's a little risky but if you keep the halftrack with the PGrens you can keep them alive and on the field.
If the T70 comes to early, don't be afraid to pull your forces back and just gaurd the 2 or 3 points near your base with a pak. You can come back onto the field when you get a PIV or have both shreks and a pak. |
Haha, I was a bit dissapointed in my play. I did a disservice to my team by fucking around and FHQing a house near the wehrmacht base.. I knew when I did it that it was a huge waste of resources.
It was a close game though, gg wp to hans and luckystrike. |

It used to be that you could pay 60 munitions to repair your T70 back to full health after getting fausted once (maybe even twice..?). That always seemed reasonable to me as you're paying 60 muni to counter a 25 muni ability.
After what I assume are the changes to how fausts and at-nades do damage, the T70 is left with 99% health and a damaged engine after using field repairs post-faust. This makes the ability basically worthless.
Two suggestions: either increase the health self-repair grants, or dramatically increase the health self-repair grants but make it immobilize the T70 in the same way that the doctrinal self-repair works. |
I donno if you guys get bad dice or what, or maybe they ninja hotfixed it when they fixed the FHQ, but I just watched my last replay and saw seven conscripts in a row get suppressed by the first burst from a 42, even at max range. I do still think the mg needs to be stronger given how easy it is to get/throw mototovs. |
Would adding some infantry AT to Special Rifle Command (please don't call them tiers) be good? Like 2 Bazookas or 4 AT rifles on penals or adding another squad with them. Maybe PTRS upgrade on snipers that penetrate every shot and have increased chance of criticals. I think those could be cool ideas, but I don't know if they would be balanced.
Would indeed be nice to see some crappy handheld AT from t1, something to soft counter the halftrack basically. That way you aren't forced to go gaurds or rush a potentially worthless atgun. (The other option is nerfing the t70 and letting it arrive sooner)

Considering that it is sometimes impossible to dodge the satchel charge (you can retreat when it lands but pathfinding means you're staying 2 seconds), T1 is better than people think.
Regardless, in 1v1 going t1 necessitates you play a doctrine with Gaurds in it, but there's nothing wrong with that. Even after the 223 buff, 3 conscripts + snipers + gaurds is still a very strong opening. |
Darealslim shady was OK, he wasn't top 5 in the slightest though. I've played vs you a couple of times Dave and while you aren't terrible, you shouldn't be insulting other people's skills.
I would like the MG42 to be changed as well, but if you're going to throw in tons of condescending comments towards the dev team, it's unlikely that they'll read your post and take it seriously. |
