Like I said if they can be pretty decent, but they don't have survivablity. Shreks are great on squads with oorah, body armor, and six men. Especially when you are fighting tanks with low anti infantry capability. Turn that around and you are using them with 4 man squads , fighting armor that can wipe them before they get a second salvo off. Shreks are the best at in the game, for Soviets. Sorry mate, but sometimes when I read your posts I have the feeling we play different game. You can say a lot about Germans but not that they're lacking anti tank capabilities. In: COH2 Balance

Panzer Grenadiers not capable of killing tanks? I would swap Panzer Grenadiers with Guards every time. Shreck is the best weapon I can pick with my Conscripts. When I get one this unit becomes the most valuable unit in my army. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Germans are bad28 Dec 2013, 20:00 PM Getting T-34/85 before recent buff was pointless, now this tank is actually worth the price. You can see them coming, you can see which commander has been chosen thus you can prepare. Maybe there is a problem with German early game right now, I didn't play enough games to be able to say for sure but T-34/85 is not responsible for it. @Vicking - now I know it's you. Thread: Germans are bad28 Dec 2013, 13:38 PM They come in pairs but you pay for each of them so in theory you should have equal number of PzIV on the field and you should have your tanks earlier unless outplayed by your opponent. You can always go for Panthers whenever you see Guard Motor being used just to be absolutely sure however a pair of PzIV or a PzIV supported by a PaK or StugIII should do the trick. If you loose to a pair of T-34/85 while having a pair of PzIV then that's not a balance issue. In: COH2 Balance

Germans are not bad, I would say they are much stronge now than they were a patch ago. I still didn't make up my mind in regards to Shock Troops and Guards being 1cp, as I need more games and we are in holiday season right now. Personaly I don't have problems dealing with ST using German T1, but oveall balance can be affected because of this. I watched the famous OMGPOP! game and he simply outplayed his opponent so yes, you can even spam T-43/85 when you are dominating. Speaking of T-34/85, it can fight equal fight with PzIV but to call it OP, only because it can fight back or actually penetrate Panther frontaly? In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet Mortar Vet 1 Ability26 Dec 2013, 11:27 AM All this is true but you forget the fact that before Vet1 usefulness of Soviet mortar is somehow questionable as mortar struggles to hit anything with its slow rate of fire. I only find precision strike useful in weapon teams heavy games or to snipe Pioneers repairing damaged vehicles. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet Mortar Vet 1 Ability21 Dec 2013, 16:25 PM In my opinion the very existence of this ability is the sole reason why Soviet mortars are what they are. If something has to be done to precision strike then Soviet mortars need to be look at to compensate. I personally don't like the ability at all as its somehow useful when German player will go for a support heavy build. I would love to see this ability nerfed or reworked and performance of Soviet mortar improved. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Shocktroops at 1CP18 Dec 2013, 00:15 AM I don't think I have problems with Shocks in general and therefore I can't tell if they come to early or not. If anything I would say German T1 is actually stronger than it was pre patch so in theory it should be easier to deal with them. I can see multiple squads being a problem in team games but we are talking 1v1 here right? In: COH2 Balance
