Hey,
Personally I like this match. You have decent micro and some ideas in your head. You still had the chance and some initiative when I thought you were actually lost. Sadly, executions and some choices weren't that good but hey, you can easily improve it and I want to help you with that Let's start:
1. Poor choices in early game. At the beginning, you have seen the vickers running to your cut off to help his Infantry section. At this moment I'd canceled that gren squad in a produce and then buy a quickly mortar which could quickly push him off. For some reason you choose a sniper, which isn't that effective in countering HMG's since mortar does it a lot better in general. Not even speaking that vickers gaining more vision and range and then sniper loses his point of exist.
In addition, I don't understand why you haven't build more infantry at later stages. You had man power. I suggest to build rather more grens than pgrens at the stage where you had 2 pgrens. You needed more capping power and of course for some fausts. Good rifle granades also work, and it's far better than throwing bundle nades which became overpriced since they can't "one shoot" these wooden buildings and rather deals the damage than killing the models.
2.Too much focusing on a center of the map. It's basically problem with all the people who plays this map. In this case he just put a MG-42 in the building at cut off to his munition, and even with panzer support, you didn't even bother to look there. When you finally were under press-ion of the lose, you finally move there something to clear this out but it was fairly too late. This problem might results from lack of capping potential, but next time, always remember that all the precious resources on this map are on the sides, not the center.
It's not that much I can also write. In sum up I can say you have lost to your wrong decisions and ignoring the rest of map, focusing at his strongest defense than rather at the frontiers where he had only single machine guns for covering all the point with juicy resources.

Hey, I was really surprised that assault grenadieres could be that effective against somebody, but hey, I'm actually here to help you in becoming more better in your strategy. I'll refer to your points first, then I may add something personal. Let's start: 1.Poor early engagements against Assault Grenadieres - I was reaaaly surprised what he did with his first assault grenadieres squad. I mean how much damage he dealt. When you noticed them, you should press stop button with your Rifleman squad, deal as many damage you can do without taking a risk of getting too much damage and then press retreat button. You wouldn't lose much because they nearly entered the battlefield. Instead of this, you decided to push them into your RE's, in effect he could shoot to your running squad and not taking damage itself. You pull them back anyway as soon as you took green cover and your RE's weren't on the position as well but you probably know it right. Next time keep them in a distance, run them when they are actually on their effective range (basically point blank). 2.Got both of my mortars wiped for no reason - Next time I suggest to spread them a bit, but I'm sure your know the theory here. Also, next time, when you got a lot of man power, consider building a Pak howitzer which has a greater wipe potential and much more range, the best thing you could have done versus his MG's 3.Didn't bring up enough AT When he build his Panzer IV, you were in pretty bad shape with a lot of fuel and no man power. But much earlier he went only for Ass Grens and two MG's. I've no idea why you didn't decide to go for AA half track that could close this guy in the base. M20 and Stuart could be also an option, due his lack of any AT. Greyhound could be too late (you reach 5cp at 9th minute) Same goes to the late game when you should hang reinforcements for less more half of your army and bring Jackson as soon as you could and have pretty safe future. 4.Poor engagements against Panzergrenadiers - the best what you can do against Pgrens spam, is keeping your rifles in pairs and equipping them with LMG's. 1919's are from my experience the best for it but BARs also doing their work. 5.No idea which doctrine to pick - you couldn't decide what you should take and you didn't go any of them at the end. From your perspective, Pershing should be obvious choice due his wipe capabilities, armor and overall rest of doctrine (smoke, mines and "panic" rangers who could really mess up anyway). From my perspective, you should went for early light vehicle to control the map, get your lmg's much faster, overall hang your friendship with blobing (due its no effectiveness when you are loosing), and think about your strategy on the loading screen. I didn't want to play this game as soon as I noticed his nickname, games against penals and DsHKs aren't entertaining at all At last I've stayed and even with not that great level of playing there is a nice game with Feurer sturm, reason why MP40's on volks >> StG's and some Panther play where I finnaly had some luck but not that much GG, replay at the request btw but worth watching or even cast because you don't see these things very often In: Replays |

Hi there, I am here for one little thing I want to share and ask. When the OKW will be a normal faction in mean of AT weapons, non cheeky blobing and others? inb4 blobing is not about faction, then why cons are not blobable? You can't balance a faction which was designed in 2014 and you keep almost all their ideas till now. I won't write here about truck system etc. but AT guns. You know why these Raketens are so bad? Propably beacuse Volks had PzS's and they weren't to be primary AT weapons. They are rather supporting role to your blobs. I mean they are really cheesy since you can camo them but in normal term and usage of AT gun they are bad due their: 1. Pathetic range - the problem is enemy vehicle can shoot you at the same time as you start. Same thing if you want to defend your trucks or whatever you do and you have to close up with them in range of enemy's MG's and other stuff. It wouldn't be such a problem if: 2. Raketens unlike rest doesn't have green cover. Crew memembers die to a hiss of bullets above their heads. But in most cases they die one shooted by mediums and heavies, just like 3 guys dies after they fired. It doesn't happens to rest because they have heavy cover for their crews. Mostly you have to flank them to kill them but not in case of raketens. 3.Accuracy it's propably the lowest even compare to "old factions AT guns" like ZiS-3 and PaK40. They keep hitting the ground even if target is straight on. Don't tell me it's only my luck and RNG because other people will say that again if you don't believe. The only thing which those guns do have is their really good aim time and their camo but this last one is necessary if you want to keep their bad range and no cover for crew. We all know how it's really annoying and how it lost many games. I suggest to give OKW normal AT gun like PaK40 or change all his stats to match normal AT gun but only keep Raketen model.
