Thread: is matchmaking determined by level or by rank?19 Feb 2018, 14:05 PM Matchmaking is based on ELO rating. Your rank is your place when players are ordered by ELO. Your level is directly derived from your rank and the total number of people ranked with that faction. The system will try to match you to the person with the closest ELO searching for the opposite side. Number of games, playtime, etc. do not influence matchmaking. This will not necessarily correspond completely with rank, for instance an UKF player might have significantly lower ELO than the same rank axis player (low number of players playing low number of games on UKF ladder). How much this is compensated for, only Relic knows. If you think OKW has it hard, wait until you see how USF does on that map against OKW from the south. Sturms and first kubel go right side to camp the house cutoffs, second kubel goes to left cutoff, and gg right there without mechanized. WC51 can't actually do anything against the sturms in house so they have to drive over to the left side, so knowing that just listen to the engine sound and get your kubel out of there if you hear it while sending all your volks to the left. Once luchs comes out it's game over even against mechanized so all you need to do is not completely fuck up against the wc51 for a few minutes. In: Replays
