Ok, sorry, my mistake. Thought you meant the regular sherman (or bulldozer which has the same aura). Easy Eight check for the aura is completely different, it will trigger from itself (so as long as you have a vet1 easy eight you straight up get the first level bonus) and it only checks for "vehicle" so it will trigger off any friendly vehicle for the other two levels. But has lower radius than the regular Sherman at 20 vs 35 for the aura.
Latter, nearly everything in the game is multiplicative, the few instances of additive bonuses are generally screwups that haven't been fixed. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Today I found out that the radio net stacks off of the usf ambulance. Take that as you will. I don't understand why people have this need to come make up lies like this. Even assuming you weren't just doing this out of malice, you're posting an anecdote that would take literally 1 minute for you to check to be false ingame or in the tools. EDIT: Misunderstanding.

Hey Cruzzi, got a question. No, these two and PG bundled nade are effectively the same ability even though relic has copypasted the same things in different files for them. Ober one has 0.1 extra far damage multiplier(so 80*0.1 = 8 damage more on the edge of the aoe and less as you go inwards) but has a tiny scatter value so it actually won't fly exactly where you aim at. Those are really the only differences between the 3.
Stacks up to 3 times. Checks for allied medium_tank and heavy_tank and t_70 in radius 35, won't trigger off assault guns (including priest) or light vehicles (including stuart and scott). Only applied to the Sherman, and multiple vet shermans will not let you get any more than 3 stacks either on each Sherman. Pretty weak honestly. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Suppression: don't think so, because suppression always applies regardless of hit or miss so it would be doubling the effect and I didn't see focus fire setting affecting suppression speed in my tests (atleast not by that much). I'd assume it's just using the scatter circle and picking a target (closest or random, bit hard to say) there because small arms do not actually have physics projectiles except for the axis HMGs while using phosphor rounds (which is why they will then all of a sudden start hitting friendly vehicles in their path when you have those on). Cruzz, if it's false, a burst weapon can hit other infantry in the scatter radius if it misses the thing it's firing on. This is free extra DPS spread around the target that will not be shown on the weapon stats people so love to quote. In: COH2 Balance |

It does. The guys are valued at 70MP each because the .50 cal itself is set to 0MP value so the entire 280MP cost of the squad is made up by the 4 crewmembers. Other fun things the .50 cal has: Weapon priority value set wrong so it will get decrewed by PaKs and other antitank weapons very easily focus_fire: true so it does a notable amount less DPS than other HMGs considering its other stats. Vet2 removes all the aoe suppression and incremental accuracy changes HMGs were given Gun has 10 armor instead of 70 so gets gun destroyed fast by mortars and nades (35 pen) Worst long range penetration of any HMG in the game (1.0) ...To be on topic, I never understood why they halved the HMG34 damage per bullet.
