Yes they are and I feel for the guy. Facing multiple snipers is the most frustrating bs in the game and imo should not even be in the game in the first place. However he could have been a bit more mannered about it and at the same time I have to say wp by Siberian.
Don't. I played against him as soviet on klodny and beat him hard using normal 4 cons to t2 start. He was playing Ost and complaining the whole game how it was under powered and his side of the map was harder etc. The moment one of his squads hit a mine and got killed he went "fuck your mom". Mind you he was a friend at the time.
Langres is a fucking amazing map for ostheer, sorry. No matter the spawn. Sure the south spawn might be slightly better still, but langres north as ostheer is twice better than any other map you can get.
How is that even possible?
I played this map both as Ost and Soviet north and it is so hard for Ost to keep both the top cut off and fuel capped, especially at the first 10 minutes of the game. In fact most of my games against the Ost north spawn end up in victory.
Spamming snipers is really annoying, but u had little choice because u are playing on the hardest map/starting position for Ost. Plus your opponent went with the op rifles commander. You out played him by a margin and he was the scum he always has been.
Seriously haven't such unmitigated, shameless blobbing since OF was first released....This is CoH...not StarCraft, not C&C, not Supreme Commander...Cover and tactics are supposed to mean something in this game....flanking is supposed to mean something in this game...map control and unit preservation are supposed to mean something...
And it does...only in the early game...after that things degenerate into who has the biggest, vetted, RNG-lucky, efficient blob and the most powerful over-used commander call-ins.
Units that are meant to punish blobbing (MGs, Mortars, mobile flak) just die to AT blobs or the tanks that escort the blob...
I actually had way more fun in July 2013 with little to no maps/commanders and options compared to now. Every month saw the game's steady progression into nonsensical BS, units and play-style being turned upside down and now faction design that is completely inconsistent with what CoH2 originally promised...
Am I the only one fed up?
You were going fine until the part in bold. It's just not true. The game improved in many ways until WF. The new factions introduced a new set of a problems (blobbing) and intensified some previous ones (fast teching/vehicles).
Juslin played so much better yet he lost. I think if anything this game perfectly illustrates the current problems in the game including cheap call ins and easy spam.
On the other hand, I think Juslin could have had a stronger early game if he went Panzer headquarter. By setting it up to defend his fuel/cutoff it would have freed all his units to go about harassing territory and snipers. Plus he could have got the p2 which I think is very good in this case and less micro intensive than ht/puma combo.
At later stage he could get the panther which is way better than the Jagdpanzer and can actually kill some infantry (with mg upgrade). Possibly even sticking with only one panther he could have saved for a kt that would help him lock down a single vp against such soviet play.
There is a difference between a flawed map and a map that you dont like. I think Stalingrad is a perfect example of a flawed map. Minsk on the other hand is fine. If you dont like it veto it.
The plane does nothing except partially reveal the targeted tank. You get 33% more damage from your tanks when they fire at the targted tank. So t34 85 normally does 160 damage, with mark vehicle it does 213 per shot.
Its a great idea, but I don't think relic will implement it because they will hold the position: "if you pick one tier, you can't have units from the other tier, that's how soviet is designed". Lets just hope I am wrong, but experience tell me not.
