Seriously did relic even think before they made this absolute disgrace of a patch its an absolute joke. Soviets dominate in every single aspect of the game. Due to constant soviet whining over the months it has reduced oh to an unplayable state. Maxim. M3. T3485s mines snipers con guards and penals all genuine changable combinations. Buffs to soviet armor. Sherman. And maxims spam ans of course is152. Nerfed blitz to a useless state. Grens are the only decent playable unit ex assault commander. You fd pgs up the arse.

State of the game is an absolute fking joke and its because a collective 10 whiners from soviets spam this forum and rhe official one. Namely kakitof.

Now look what you have done to the balance after looking at what these idiots have to say. Well done relic. Well done. Or should I say congratulations to the collective 10 whiners.

So much whine. The issues with the game have less to do with the actual balance of each faction as they do the structure of the game. AOE damage is pretty over the top(soviet mines are indeed a major issue), and general ineffectiveness of teching vs waiting for call ins is a much bigger issue than anything. The game is in a better state than it has been since its launch, so to say it is "unplayable" is just another unneeded whine thread from someone who would rather bitch on the forums than improve their gameplay. Literally all you did was list off a bunch of soviet units with no context as to how or why they are OP. Anyone can do that, and it isn't productive. Here, let me try.

These types of posts aren't productive. Props to vidicare to actually try and provide some context for his balance comments, but to be honest the OP wasn't even worthy of that. Don't we have enough of these posts already? Its time for everyone to step away from the cliff and brace yourselves for some serious changes when WF rolls out. At this rate we're going to have to put everyone in a room with padded walls on june 24th. Trust me guys, it'll all be okay! The sun will come out tomorrow!

This looks awesome, what time are the games? If I could get a time and date for the games I can consider signing up.

What has their tournament wins anything to do with their opinion of the game or if they play the game at all lead to the conclusion that the game must be bad? In almost any sequel the "top players" will hate it because they have played and perfected the original game since forever and even the smallest change will make their lives miserable since their life WAS coh1. To feel better about themselves they just shit on the new game and claim "it lost its soul, its magic, i dont know why but its just not the same".

True coh2 right now might be an inferior game, maybe it will be an even better game after the expansion or the expansion after that. But these "top players" will never switch, no matter what change relic will do.. coh2 will always "not have the magic, low skill ceiling, vcoh is so much better".

So yeah who cares what these top players really have to say? Their life of nolife doesnt give them any more intelligence. Meanwhile new top players are being created and these old legends are no more than just legends.

On that same note, if they keep improving the game and expanding the player base, new top players will emerge and start making their own mark, and eventually people will forget about all the top vcoh players entirely.

Something with touch controls could be interesting. I'm not familiar with the Wii-U but maybe a touch controlled mini map on the giant controller interface could give an added level of control. I can understand Relic wanting to get in on the console player base, but I have my doubts as to how much interest there would be for an RTS game on that platform.

This is wonderful! I feel like articles like this can really open the eyes of players who are looking to get a deeper understanding of the game. On top of that, having any sort of analysis of top players by top players only furthers the incentive to get better, because someone who might struggle in dealing with a particular strat can learn from it and feel less frustrated when playing against it.

I also like that there were some comments on the recent tourneys and ladder play. This sort of casual discussion helps keep people involved with the top players and what is going on in the competitive scene.
