I've seen team games with T70 spam and they just rip through everything, especially weapons teams nearly instantly. These little tanks are too good and need a look at. I think a fuel cost increase would not be amiss (along with the pak fix) |
I think the "missile lock" feature being fixed would be a good compromise. |
they are horrible versus infantry when double shrecked so I reckon they are fine |
less armor is all that is needed, it should be a bit more of a glass cannon. I'm not talking about a major reduction in health here, just enough to help balance what is now the best tank in the game, costs considered.
edit: maintain the speed both forward and backward to make up for the hp reduction |
all I know is the stug has very little role in the current balance situation. hopefully it is tweaked because the Panzer IV is simply the better option, all the time. |
Considering 95% of Soviet players will build conscripts and most will get AT Nades, is it really fair to the Ostheer players that the AT nade damages the engine of the tank, 100% of the time?
To balance this, I think the AT nade should have a CHANCE to damage the engine. to compensate for this being a chance, the damage could be increased as well.
Another way to tackle this would be to simply reduce the range like they did to the faust. IMO tanks should be able to kite conscripts more easily.
Why should a tiger tank fear a conscript squad? it's silly.
thoughts? does the AT nade need some change(s) or is it good as is? |
to summarize the general feeling in this thread:
The T34 needs a buff to armor and damage (I'd personally prefer this over penetration) why? if they had good penetration, T34 spam could become commonplace!
T34 also needs a nerf to the ram ability. Personally I think it should damage the t34 engine and take it down to about 20% health or so, but the ram should not disable the turret of the opposing Ost armor. Why should a t34 ram disable every tank in the game so easily including the tiger and the elephant? (a sad tank right now, along with the IS2)
if the turret wasn't disabled you would need to have conscripts or guards nearby the finish off the Ostheer tank,
anything that promotes combined arms play is a-ok in my book
