Thread: Demolition Charges10 Aug 2013, 19:26 PM The size of the house plays a massive factor with demos. It actually usually does instant kill squads, provided it is a small/medium size building. However all the buildings that are large the garrison squad will almost always survive. It is how buildings are fucntion though, have to level the whole thing to the ground to kill stuff. I think this is wrong for demo's though, should have a higher kill rate for such an expenisve investment. Which is my problem. In COH 1 regardless of infantry position or building size the demo instagibbed them and was only a 60 muni investment after a 35 fuel and ~120 manpower upgrade. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Demolition Charges10 Aug 2013, 04:58 AM For 90 munitions these are just terrible. If planted next to a decrewed pak to kill a squad it won't even destroy the pak. Also it does not instagib units in buildings.. as of right now they are pretty useless. I feel even satchel has bigger splash. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Static Pop Cap8 Aug 2013, 15:53 PM I feel like this is a minor problem but it would be quite awesome if points gave pop cap value like they did in COH 1. This added a dynamic that made games interesting such as when your opponent pop cap locks you by capping off key sectors. Thoughts? 100 Pop cap just allows people to sit in there bases and build up armies too in 4v4s... In: COH2 Balance

They are easy to dodge (assuming your AI is cooperating) and for the most part don't kill guys but do damage. I feel like the only purpose of the molotov in game is to dislodge units from buildings.. which so far seems like it's only good use. In: COH2 Balance

Oh, he is getting MG42, I need M3, A move and he die Oh, he has M3, let me get an AC, A move and kill it in seconds. Oh, he has T2 vehicles, let me get T70 and rape them before Pz4 comes out. Oh, he has T70, let me GTFO of all my stuff and praying my Pz4 comes faster. Damn it, those are not skills. Why do you guys make it that casual friendly? 70% of 1v1 automatch are those 4 sentences above. THAT IS STARTING TO BE BORING COH1 lasts for 6-7 years, those gameplay are still exciting. Every game are so different, there are so many different strat and so many different approach to counter them. COH2 was just born like 2-3 weeks, and I start getting tired of those IDENTICAL matchup I agree 100% with this post. The game play (generally soviets) of Company of Heroes 2 relies so much on building hard counters that it takes away the creativity that made vCOH so much fun. The battles are becoming stale and the game play is rather redundant. I also believe the design of the Soviets is odd because Soviet players are often required to build hard counters to a very generalist, "well rounded", ostheer army. In: COH2 Balance
