I really enjoyed this match! I really didnt, I raged the entire time. Tiger was worthless and reminded me why I never save for one. Think my army died almost completely twice including almost instantaneously during the final attempt at retaking the center GJ with the aggressive soviet early game on the middle vps at the start of the match, that more than anything else probably threw me off my momentum In: Replays

Thread: High Level Play - Epic Game28 Aug 2013, 22:37 PM My first replay post in a long time so you know it'll be good gg to Kamfrenchie Very close match on kholdny from start to finish. Kamfrenchie goes for a t34 build, but uses them fairly defensively which spoils my play enough for him to take the lead in the middle of the match as I go for the come back. Thread: So does no one care that Relic is recycling maps?28 Aug 2013, 21:18 PM I dont like that coh1 maps dont seem balanced for coh2. top on langreskaya is in a weaker position than the bottom, and semois seems like its gonna suffer from similar problems with the chokepoints and base locations in relation to the main battle areas (ie. idf into south base is much easier than the top). I like that they are bringing the map but they should modify the gameplay on them to better suit the balance of coh2, not just do vanilla ports. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Soviet Sniper Fixed ?28 Aug 2013, 11:46 AM Jump back to quoted post28 Aug 2013, 08:07 AMNullist He did? Oh lol... Too bad then that Osts ONLY indirect fire option, is the humble Mortar. GL hitting a Sniper with that before it relocates. I've actually had decent luck using the 82 to kill soviet snipers with decent micro. Hotkey your mortar and just shift his fire via attack ground between barrages when needed, in general not just vs snipers. Early on it doesnt work well but once the soviet player gets 2 or more snipers, the soviet will tend to clump them up to keep the micro easy on himself so if you can mortar them during a battle where his attention is on other units you can get some nice hits. But then again you need luck. Strafe is always a fun sniper counter if you get that doctrine, but tbh I havent used it much lately. Whatever "counter" kills a sniper, I always breathe a sigh of relief because the soviet sniper really is a game changer vs german infantry and crew teams. In: COH2 Balance

Guard grenades are probably the best in the game right now. im not sure guard grenades should be super strong given the fact they have such armor and dps in addition to smoke.
