After a dozen or so B4 games with varied success, I decided to kick back and mess around with Ostheer.
I ended up building 0 vehicles.

http://www.coh2.org/topic/31676/tightrope-shoutcasts/post/298923 Thanks! Both of the cast and the compliment, I do love to put a bit of fitting RP whenever I can, I think I might make it a thing for 3s and 4s especially. In: Replays |

... It was a warm summer day as the 4th Panzer Division lay in wait for the 2nd Armor Company. The harsh winter was but a distant memory now, and with the attrition the US Forces in the area, the Oberkommando der Wermacht was expecting a push-over. Engines revved as fresh troops were delivered to the front, town of Lienne would be theirs by nightfall. It was to be a rude awakening then, as it was none other than the 15th Red Banner Division they would be facing. Infantry support in the form of Pz 2 'Luch' and Stuka zu Fuss would be of little use now with the might of Stalin's Hammers at the breach. With every engagement, the inevitable drew closer, until all at once an ear-shattering artillery barrage would begin, sealing the fate of the entire 4th Panzer Division along with its command structure. The treeline would prove treacherous, the forests an impregnable fortress, and the open fields a death trap. In: Replays |

Not to mention that especially in the case of Semosky, a good positioning of the B4 can eat 2-3 volleys of Stuka before the trees/foliage are destroyed, and the B4 starts taking damage. That's 5-6 minutes (100s x 3 = 300s = 5 minutes) with just the CD + any travel time for the Stuka zu Fuss. A -great- positioning of B4 can eat 5+ Volleys with foliage (A spot I recently discovered) In: Replays |
