This is a good example of how combined arms can overcome some of the power of individual German units.
These Germans were not the best players, I know, and they consistently hit mines and demo throughout the match. Hope its as entertaining to watch as it was to play. |
Started a 2v2, but my partner's internet crapped out right as we started. I stuck out the match and they fought me to 1 point. Ended up with over 400 kills myself.
If they hadn't tried to force the win in the graveyard, they would've likely won. |
This is one of the bloodiest 1v1s I've slugged out.
Both of us made some mistakes. My win would've been a bit quicker if I'd preserved my armor better. I think if he'd learned to dodge arty more he may have won.
I'd appreciate feedback on specific tactical or strategic choices I made. |
Early aggression cost us a couple of units, but won us the field. Germans respond by panicking and rushing our base (as per usual). Tiger Ace died in about 15 seconds. |
So Wolflite and I normally play Russian, but we're branching out. These guys had us against the ropes early, but we managed to turn it around with zero room to spare. |

We didn't do a con spam to the cutoff. I went T1-Penal-Con and took the fuel. they countered and we enveloped and held. Commenting when you didn't watch it seems a bit off to me. |
After some serious work on our coop game Wolflite and I just hit our 10th win in a row. XxMcFlyxX and Johan Schwarz seem to be very solid players with impressive records. We're on a roll at the moment, and hoping it'll keep going. |

Scout car with Penal Batt to satchel MGs in buildings..Sniper to deal with them in the open. Conscripts to flank and engage and Penal Battalion to close and flame out grens. Shock troopers here, and lock down the fuel.
Tech to 4 and bring on 2 SU-76s.
Barrage infantry clumps and any capping.. us AT grenades to slow the counter armor (usually a stug). The 76 Barrage can penetrate on most armor.
