I think the whole discussion is splitted into 2 parties
People who compare the T34/76 with the P4 and people who see the whole faction.
I say both are right and a different solution should be found.
Overperforming Call-ins do not justify overperforming stock units.
Does Soviet deserve a strong lategame after they have such a strong early and midgame?
If yes how could this be achieved without call-ins to enable/encourage other commander?
Without buffing the T34 to unhistorical level* a new unit should be introduced.
Possible units would be the KV1, KV 85 or IS1
-KV1 is already in the game would make a good bullet sponge
-KV85 would be a T34/85 with more armor and less mobility (my personal favourite)
-IS1 would be a Tiger equivalent and probably OP as fuck (but a cool unit)
If no call-ins must be brought in line with stock unit power and everybody is happy (as if).
How could this be done? (this should be done to ALL factions)
Call-ins don't need fuel but a lot of MP (like coh1)
Call-ins need teching and are build unlocked in addition to the normal units
Call-ins are pushed back a few CP (Tiger/IS 2 to 15Cp?)
If you continue this discussion keep the above in mind and remember that you can't fix any unit ingame without fixing the OP-meta units.
* I know that we have a lot of bullshit in the game like pak 43, button and the IR halftrack but when I see unit ingame I have a certain expectancy and if this is not fulfilled I'm dissatisfied. this brings us to another issue relics shit faction design with their insistance on allies being early game factions and germans being late. Instead of giving all of them equal chances at all stages of the game. |
Why is everyone arguing with zyllen? Its useless he thinks he's right and refuses to listens to any ones point of view, you're literally talking to a brick wall |
Thats why its cheaper. and do not forget that the sherman is perhaps the cost effective its in a different faction which has no heavies whatsoever. so i dont mind that their medium stock tank is better.
I will agree that the current soviet stock is up, but problem is the bad teching options and the su-76 and su85 not performing as TD's. Buffing the t-34 will solve nothing.
reading your post goves me cancer, you think the su85 needs a buff, but not the t34? What game are you playing? The su85 is a phenomenal td its only issue is path finding and its in a tier with no direct ai to support it. The t34 is just about as extinct as the su76 i never see sov players use them just callins. All it needs is a rof and/or a accuracy buff for it to be worth it. |

i did read them and its the most vague thing i ever read. i have not seen a single decent argument.
lets have a quick overview:
cost/efficiency ratio: solid compare stats to the p4 and sherman and i have kept the future patch in mind
potency at time of arrival: solid once again solid. arrives slightly faster then the p4
Teching cost : solid overall the soviets have the cheaper tech.
veterancy : solid its offensive instead of defensive allowing the the vet 3 t-34 to hit softer targets more often.
So what is the issue? well simply put the teching structure of the soviets not providing any decent AT in tier and of course callin meta.
and both issues will be resolved in the future patch.
p.s. this is how you make an decent argument without insulting somebody.
i never started name calling you did when you called me a twat, not only that you ignored every argument on why it needs a buff. Explaining anything to you is like talking to a brick wall |
FFS 12 pages of worthless name calling with each side calling each other fan boys .
Red bear you look like a twat at the moment, mate . show me some respect and have the courtesy to bring arguments to the table why the t-34 need to be buffed or needs a role change. otherwise get lost mate im not interested in fanboy calling
the only twat here is you and obviously you're illiterate to have you not readthe last 12 pages? Its already been explained why it needs a buff, or are you a huge coh2 pro who can beat the top 100 axis 1v1 players with only t34s |
I still have not seen a single decent argument why the t-34 needs a buff. the best argument so far is that its not an 85 so it sucks. well i can say the p4 sucks just as much then. but the t-34 is fine save for its shitty vet 1 ability. thats because you obviously dont play coh2 or you only play axis, take your pick |
Let the shit storm commence |
No the only reason people praise the t34 is because the soviet industry and economy could mass produce anything they wanted. Guarantee that if germany was the one to make the t34/76 and could only produce maybe 12-15 thousand of them we would call them idiots for making such a shit tank. Anything is good if you can make enough of them. I mean 48,000 of the 55,000 t34s made were destroyed. Not a good tank, was shit. t34/85 is the only good tank there.
where did you pull those numbers from? That doesnt even make any sense |
Their is nothing wrong with the t-34 however.
My focus would be on the su85 and su76
you dont play this game much do you? |
