In a 2v2 I was playing with my friend, they had just mass retreated and I used fear propaganda on their men collected around their HQ, then we both sent in IL-2 bombing strikes. The game was already over but it was devastating =)

Hello there and welcome |
Neat. Well done Stephenn. |
Sounds like the problem might be your system and internet connection. I can sympathize and hope you can get your money back but it's not really the games fault. |
How many balance threads do you need to start Porygon. I hope you've vented it all by now and we don't have to see any more. |
All games have a relatively predictable end game. If the game goes long enough there is an ideal composition you will get.
That said doctrines/commanders give a fairly decent amount of variety to an end game - T-34-85s, Tigers, Elephant, Pak 43, IS-2, ISU-152mm, Artillery for both sides - not to mention a large variety of doctrinal strikes for flavour, and yes I use strikes often.
The mid-game in CoH2 is very diverse in my experience so I can't comment on what you've experienced here.
PS. You're not using tank smoke and recon flight? Why? |
Wow. |
I've run into a similar problem in 2v2. Once my opponent's team locks down a fuel/VP area, it can be really hard to unlock.
HMG's, SU-85's, Conscripts and Guards make it a tough nut to crack. Once your infantry retreat from MG fire (or sometimes, Katusha fire) your tanks can't really move in or they get AT Naded and SU-85'ed apart.
So far I've found the artillery options either too expensive or ineffective to dislodge my opponents strong holds. Mortars don't kill enough, fast enough. Artillery + Nebelwerfers cost too much and come too late. |
Man, I feel S0_L337_1T_HURTS needs to go lie down and have a glass of wine or something. Relax broseph.
Noun already said he's not going to put an exact date on something he doesn't know the exact date of. Isn't that intuitively understandable? I mean you would have to be some kind of slow not to understand why someone would do that, right?
If you actually looked around or, I don't know, READ Relic posters replies, you would know that Relic has a several year plan to support CoH 2. That should answer most your questions about if DLC is coming etc.
Maybe it's just me, I'm thoroughly enjoying the game right now. I'm not thinking about the next commanders to be released on DLC. |
