While the Bundle is now on cooldown, they can still do sneak attacks with it later on. I'm not sure on giving them Ober rifles because while it's a kar98k, it's a very very good kar98k in terms of accuracy and damage output. Hence the suggestion. It deals the exact same damage, it just is very accurate. Storms would consistently be able to deal damage at all ranges, but being 4 man squads without LMGs that have to upgrade for StGs, an accurate rifle might be exactly what's appropriate for the unit. I mean, it's not like unupgraded Obers are a concern. It'd also justify their cost as well. Hell they could cost the same as Panzergrens. In: COH2 Gameplay

There's not LMG34 option, so having reliably accurate long range rifles can be very worthwhile. If G43s are giving sight range bonuses, that's a worthwhile upgrade in and of itself. In: COH2 Gameplay

Soviets got pretty morphed and there's a lot of energy to fully eliminate the EFA matchup now. The t0 MG42 was a significant blow to the matchup, which is why cons have felt so especially marginalized. But there will always been endless hours of things to complain about concerning WFA and Brits. There is no doubting that. In: Lobby

Volks and Riflemen are surprisingly balanced and equal matchups without vet or slot_items. Once upgraded and with vet, that balance changes significantly. Rifles have the better slot_items, but Volks have the better vet but also get their slot_items a little earlier and easier. The slot_items make Volks win at close range, and Rifles win at long range, with the inverse being true without them. In: COH2 Gameplay

'15-20 second off of every retreat? nah that is too little - let me just push it a bit further...' to where many many med bases are set up where you shave ~60 sec off of every retreat... if mortar emplacement has range on your med base, if katyusha, stuka has range o your FRP without moving up to or very close to the front line (in even match), it is probably the user's fault.
