An obvious red warning smoke make it useless. remove the obivous red smoke and allow the tommies to call it down from farther out. 4. Reduce cost of AEC by 10 fuel. a cheap piece of crap unit is still a piece of crap. the wehr is in a similar boat with their 222. The AEC need extra range on its gun to make it more comparable to the puma. (and the ostheer need better light vehicle counter, but that's a topic for another day) In: COH2 Balance

Yes, the 25 pounder damage is underwhelming, but if you can use it without sending a obvious tell to the enemy I think the ability will be effective. Part of the part why katyusha and panzerwerfer are so devastating is because the enemy usually have very little time to react. The 25 pounder should be the british counterpart to the rocket artillery, relying on speed and surprise to hit enemy. In: COH2 Balance

There's a difference between having a faust effectively by default and needing a vet 1 on a 360 mp unit for snare. the incendiary shot on the ostheer sniper allow it to countersnipe the sov sniper consistently, as shown by Luvnest's game. Should the ability be considered default on the ostheer too? In: COH2 Balance

This would requires to nerf even more Obers and nobody wants that. Honestly, there is nothing easier than adding fuel/ammo cost to actual free/low cost existant upgrades. (But I agree it takes more time to do) As stated before, the problem isn't the volks shreck blob, the problem is it absence of real cost => 1- it cost nothing to build. 2- it cost nothing to replace 3- it doesn't delay other abilities / upgrades. obers without their lmg34 isn't much of a powerhouse. Wehr have the same schreck on their panzergrenadier, but a panzergrenadier blob is pretty much a joke. adding side tech for the schreck is just going to delay the schreck blob. it's not going to help in a team game where player have significantly more time and resources.
