Hello there, I used this platform for reporting a player on COH2 a while ago, so I hope it's fine I adress this in such a way again.
To keep this short, a player named massive ruined my most recent game that ended like minutes ago. After some players on our team failed in their initial engagements massive started insulting them, writing in "all" chat that he had 3 noobs on his team etc. He then proceeded to teamkilling one of his teammates' HQ buildings with PAKs, while not fighting anymore. When I noticed that I told him that such behavior is not allowed and if he wanted to leave he should have left and not ruined the game for everyone. After that he took down my base as well. The whole thing happens about 8 minutes in and until 13 minutes in, when the game ended. I'm adding relevant screenshots as well (https://imgur.com/a/Kn3aN)
I beleive that mistakes are to be learned from, and not punished or insulted for. In my experience countless comebacks took place when people kept it civil. At the same time, toxic behavior only kills the mood and ruins the experience for everyone.
Next time start to write in the thread what kind of Report it is. What happend and from which person. It saves alot of times. Reports without details getting ignored sorry.
Thank you for your attention to the thread!
I'd like to apologise for misunderstanding on my part - I operated under impression that the reports are to be forwarded to enforcement@relic.com and this site is merely forums, guide collection, video repository, you name it - but not like something official with people who can adress the issue and take action. And so I treated it as such - as a repository, just posting a replay I would attach in my email. Therefore it is natural the thread was of no use to you.
Now with that out of the way, I might as well paste my email to give you some idea on what I'm going on about:
And i can't see anything in the chat: " after finding a mistake of his teammate's to call them out on it and use it as some sort of excuse for ruining the game for everyone"
I watched the replay myself to crystalllize the issues I'm talking about and provide the relevant timelines. So:
Blouson and Crayon happened to spawn on the right site of the map so they are fighting on the right flank. By 7 minutes in they lost the right flank. By 8 minutes in Blouson holed up at their base and started to amass units there passively, building mines, barbed wire and having fun otherwise - all while the team kept fighting for the map. Crayon switched to mid. Blouson remained at their base until the very end of the game, idling. This is what is absolutely seen from the replay.
For some reason, what is not seen there at all, save for Crayon's first message about his potato connection, is the chat. Like, no messages at all. But about 7-8 minutes in Blouson called out Crayon for losing the right flank, called him names and stated the plan to remain at the base, idling.
For being a griefer - intentionally idling on his base after finding a "mistake" of his teammate's to call them out on it and use it as some sort of excuse for ruining the game for everyone. It's a pattern I experience every time I happen to play with the person in question, and I happened to play with them pretty often lately, hence the report. Aside from sitting on their base they also do other things sometimes like shooting their teammates' buildings, stealing fuel drops etc.
My point is everyone makes mistakes and playing team game with random people one shouldn't expect every player to be a pro. And a mistake is definately something to be learned from, not to be sweared at for.
I sent this to Relic enforcement email the day this was posted, but there was no answer since then. Maybe such a behavior is considered normal in the community?
