I would agree that we should have more team tourneys. What I would like to see: A CoH Ryder Cup - 2 (or 4) Team captains chosen by the community / organizers - captains can select players for their teams - All game modes are played in the tourney: 3 1v1, 2 2v2, 1 3v3 match, 1 4v4 - for every won match the team get a point - players can only play 1 game mode I think this could bring a lot more excitement for the community: Team captains had to decide who they pick and in which game mode the players have to play. Team chemistry would also be important. And all game modes would be represented not only one. Indeed this tourney look fun though! We should not forget abut Hidden Cup that could bring more interacts by viewers since players are playing under "fake" names . Like i host 2vs2 showmatches every now and then to test new 2vs2 maps and give teams a way to show their skil but like i said its hard to promote your event if its not a big tourney cause a huge post doesnt make sense for a 50 bucks showmatch. Well actually ur showmatches are going live since months so it might be more like a series and for sure having some media post might gonna help. In: Lobby

"1v1 is also considered the main game mode" you're right, but why? what makes it so special? When we compare to some bigger competitive games like age2 what i see is that most of tourneys are a mix: there's 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and even 4v4 all togheter. Casters have no problem to catch actions on 4v4 too even if i understand it's easier to lose some actions though. Dont take me wrong: 1v1 is good, i would like only to see more love in 2v2 as well. Whatching other rts that already made the big step to competitive scene would help a lot. There're so many ideas from Hidden Cup to, as i said, mix tourneys. P.S let's hope this map patch gonna bring some adjusdment to 2v2 map pool In: Lobby

I'm speaking just about 2v2 where i use to play: 1) Eindhoven Country was an amzing map, it would be cool to see it again. 2) Ettelbruck is just bad designed. It designed for hold on and arty spam and for 2v2 is just a pain. It might work in 3v3 coz different gamestyle from players. 3) Char'kov must be redesigned or removed..if u start on north side and u gonna play vs a same equal opponent skill u will lose at 100% coz ur fuel it's damn hard to hold compared to south start. 4) Moskow's maps: also if after the DPB redesign they become better they still lack on north side making to hard winning compared to starting from south. Both maps since years are always veto and as i see in WhiteFlash's Company of Heroes 3 isnt only me to veto those maps. My 2cents from a 2v2 addicted guy In: News

It´s just not fun to play vs. people that build multiple bunkers, which does happen a lot even in 2v2 unless you only play vs top 50-100 opponents. And to discourage people from buildings/spamming bunkers it would be good to give them a small population size. If you use google you will find plenty of threads of people complaining about bunkers. I am far from the only one that thinks that way and by the way I wasnt the one opening this thread either. Y i understand ur point. I'm sure it's not fun playing vs bunker spam but as soviet u can have istantly mortars, as USF same, as UKF u've to wait till t2 (min: 4?) for having ATs for shotting it down or upgrade ur IS with arty ability or mortars pits etc...I mean it might be frustrating but instead of changing the game it might be better change your approach vs those kind of players Then if it's just for speaking between friends forget what i said Kappa In: Lobby

Maybe coz i play mostly 2v2 and maybe that's a problem about 3v3-4v4 but yet i dont see the trouble. If u make urself outplayed by bunker spam it means ur enemy had already the controll of game.
