All I'm going to say is the last time Blizzard patched Warcraft 3 was in 2011. The game came out in 2003 making it an 8 year old game at the time. And they had 3 blockbuster titles out/in development (WoW, SC2, Diablo 3) that they were supporting.
Obviously Relic is not as big as Blizzard, and I'm not saying they have to put out the same support, but having VCoH be unplayable for some people is not helping the cause to make CoH a relevant e-sport.
And saying, "Oh we have bigger priorities with our new game" is not a legitimate excuse. If you want people to migrate to a new sequel, you don't just drop support for the old one. Then people who dislike the new one are screwed. When Starcraft 2 came out, some people didn't like it as much as Starcraft 1. So they went back and kept playing BW. Then when they were ready to come into the new game they could come in whenever and not feel like the company had abandoned them.
Also, on a complete side note, why were people making such a big deal out of "true-sight"? Warcraft 3 had the same system with their line of sight around trees/cliffs.

But seriously they had that shit.

This is a shame, NO game, not in auto, not in basic, man, i payed Vanilla, OF and ToV, this is SO FRUSTRATING. This shouldn't be neither permitted nor legal. |
Well, I bought the three retail versions of vCOH and I don't care particulary about COH 2, and here I am, writing this instead of playing games I cannot get. I think many of us are DEMANDING SUPPORT |
The thing is, we dont expect Relic to develop new things for this 6 years old game -that we paid for, some of us for all 3-, but we expect it as it was, in good working condition.
Dont tell me it is normal now.
Wait 3-4 hours for a fucken automatch which will lag or wont work at all.
And done come here with the propaganda/marketing speech: they need money so then they can fix it. It was paid off, fully.

I was lucky enough to visit myself the Reichstag building, heavy stories around Berlin... |
I just had a problem with my account so i contacted Sega Customer Support. That was about 8 hours ago, today i open my mail and there you go, problem solved, personal treatment, record time, interest in the user.
I remember having to beg THQ to solve a problem for me.
Happy panda

Happy panda, liked the watch beneath the vp's, i missed that in coh1.
Also the in-screen hotkeys at the bottom right, that's pretty educational to start with |
Uauuu, finally we'll get to see coh2 live!!!
happy dancing panda |
I have heard that people have managed to stream at 1080p even though their screen resolution is much lower. This is why I decided to try out this new software. I thought the point of this thread was to test things out not to make fun of others...
As for the buffer I always thought it was supposed to be double the bit-rate. Am I mistaken?
the point is you don't achieve better quality than your native resolution, if yours is 768 then it doesn't matter if your cpu is a nuclear reactor, you shouldn't stream higher than 768, it's like importing a poor quality video in premiere and exporting it in 1080, useless. |
