Thread: Shock Troops 12 Aug 2016, 19:33 PM Since WFA and British Force is come I feel like Shock is less performance than before and less use. Now SU play always pick Penals, Guard or even cons to the main front line units. Well Shock troops still be a good choice for some maps that make close combat role shine. Compare Shock to another faction Elite close combat infantry I think Shock troops still need something. my idea is replace "trip-flare mines" to another ability that unlock by vet 1. - Sprint/Oorah ? for the units that have a lot of armor have sprint ability ... seems like OP i think (lol) or - assault rapid-fire ability ... everyone will be enjoy use this ability in Campaign mode. I think it will be a better choice than the first one but need to fix something too 1) less AoE 2) NO suppression !!! EDIT : sry, my bad I mean bring back rapid fire ability that have no supression enemy units ... not mean ability that make Shock troops immune supression ... In: COH2 Balance

Comet role was generalist premium medium tank. its cost a bit more than Panther so it should be better. for Panther about suck at fight infantry just leave it... a bit RoF buff for better vs tanks should be worth for cost. Just stop being a retard that dives his tanks into a bunch of jacksons and SUs and you will be fine. i am grateful to be an idiot forever if it can make Panther better against tank. my idea is just need Rof buff, not buff Panther to be a little KT !!! and anyone is being retard like u said if dive alone. even u mention about vet ,except OKW Panther vet 4 and 5 its still be suck compare to Comet vet is far better. Always only one shot (sometime two) and retreat before swarm of tanks, infantries with AT weapons/snare, At guns or another AT ability incoming for take down your precious Panther. Comet performance is really like Tiger medium tank. Yes it cost more so its fair, but how about Panther ?!? At least make him fight better against tank so it will be worth for tech and call this unit. In: COH2 Balance

For allies premium mediums Must be spam for stand a chance against Axis armor in late game but not for Axis Panther. Because all allies premium medium tank is worth for deal with infantry and tanks but Panther only worth for beat tanks. well we cant directly compare Panther vs EZ8, T-34/85 because both of them are doctrine units. Compare Panther vs Comet might be a well position because both of them are non-doctrine units. Comet is really good and worth to spam more 2 or 3, panther is only good against tank even they are almost the same price. But the real problem is ... i don't think Panther is not good enough for his job ... really hard to beat allies tanks .. and always got outnumber by allies mediums ... Rate of Fire is like ... maybe loader need go to toilet before loading next round. I think just buff RoF should make Panther serve the role "the medium tank that expert in tank battle" more than the current is . In: COH2 Balance
