I'm going to blow your mind here so please for the love of God sit down.... You can have MULTIPLE units at the SAME TIME. you can have a Scott to punish pak walls AND have some sort of AT to stop panthers from diving. Matter of fact, the Pershing commander even has infantry capable of carrying 3 super Bazookas each.
Its always funny that in make believe scenarios the enemy is a master of combined arms and covering this hole with that and always having more resources at the ready to counter anything that can be fielded but using combined arms yourself is heresy. Like seriously the enemy is diving panthers and all you have is a Scott? That seriously what your saying? One will absolutely cut it because a static pak will then be a dead pak. Or a smoked pak needs extra micro. Try putting at least half as much effort into playing as it takes to whine about having to play on the forum. Christ all fucking mighty.
Between needing the tank to heal itself because it doesn't have a crew and using engineers like everyone else. Is impossible and "the enemy is building counters change the balance!!!" it's pathetic.
I'm just saying that I think the Pershing is bad.
All is well, okay? There is no need to be upset, okay? |
Pak howi or Scott says how do you do.
God Forbid you can't just camp USF, right?
Going Scotts, one doesn't cut it, leaves you open to Panthers.
Kinda makes me wonder why bother using the Bootleg Heavy Tank, Scotts and Jacksons will do a better job while being harder to deal with.
USF has much better doctrines to fill holes sorely needed in 2vs2 as well. |
because both axis factions generally struggle more vs high armour/health units as they don't have access to high pen/60 range TD's.
all 3 allied factions have non doc high pen, 60 range TD's
What about ATGs?
If USF is going Pershing, that means they don't have Rocket Artillery, to force double ATGs away. |
srsly ur going to compare the pershing to 2 HE shermans?, damn right 2 HE shermans will be better then the pershing at AI otherwise the pershing will be batsht OP. Its AI was way to good for a single tank and rightfully nerfed along with other heavies. Like the tiger it isnt supposed to be 1 man army and needs to be supported.
It also has high health, good AT, good armour + better AI then most heavies and excellent speed.
They are about the same cost, P 640/230 vs Ss 660/220, now that the Pershing requires a Major to be called in. I rather play Mediums now, which I feel it was how USF was originally designed, not that matters at all anymore. |
The Purrshing used to be a bootleg Heavy but it was extremely lethal to infantry, now it costs more and deals way less consistent damage than 2 HE Shermans, Those two Mediums will do a much better job killing infantry, while having vehicle crews, cheaper smoke than the one HC Commander has and having .50s cals upgrades on top.
I'd just happily remove it from my loadout for another Commander. |
Rocket Artillery is a basic tool needed in any game mode above 1vs1, as you will eventually face several MGs and ATGs that will prevent any decisive push on VPs, the LM is pretty bad (lmao) and the Calliope is what makes USF playable in campy lane maps.
4vs4 is just a stupid fun game mode. It's not balanced in the slightest. |
That would be pretty Pog. |
I don't think you can reduce the Scott's damage on top of all the changes being done to it, the HE barrage is a joke and you should use smoke on it exclusively. The enemy might not notice you are even barraging him due to how ineffective it is. It's that bad, that's why the auto-fire was buffed, without it USF is back to being one doctrine wonder above 1s. In some 2s maps you can't use Shermans at all, making the Scott your indirect fire alternative that survives Rocket Artillery, as if the UTT didn't show that the faction is nearly extinct. |
Urban Assault looks so much better now that his head is placed properly into a picture, still an ugly mofo, but more usable now. |
Nothing like trying to rush it to counter a fast Sniper, only to realize you have one chance to run it down, before a 222 arrives and stick to it like Glue.
If you could dismount the crew to lay down the Mines, it would see some use but now, if you want an ultralight that goes well with the Stuart, the Toilet Truck is a much better option. |
