Thread: Base Howis..10 Jan 2016, 16:23 PM Just took out a KT on La Gleize breakout with it... 18 VPs left, down to 2 Vickers and a newly built IS once the KT had wrecked everything. Previous two bombardments on centre VP had been pretty ineffectual but with Anvil airburst rounds it smashed his infantry ( unusual to see Inf supporting a KT!) and took out the full health KT. Thread: OKW AA Truck10 Jan 2016, 14:37 PM Quite a problem for Brits using Tactical support regiment... Locks down fuel making it difficult to get tanks ( to kill it), shoots down recon and also the air resupply planes... Generally only one of them but if that is your AT gun it limits your counters considerably. Leaves you with Piats against it which are otherwise less than useful. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: HMG comparison?9 Jan 2016, 21:24 PM Having faced a Dshk in rl I can assure you that it's suppression should be insane. Basically a Soviet anti tank rifle cartridge, and a big one at that ( Boys is just a necked up .50 cal) belted in a big fucking machine gun. Rumour has it it can kill you without even hitting you, though I don't know first hand for obvious reasons. Excellent tips Mr.Smith, thank you! Gawd knows what the Brits would do without the Vickers. Seems to beat an MG 42 in garrison to garrison by inches, but it does. In: Lobby

Would you mind having a word with the blobs that run straight past an entrenched one of the way to taking out a pit? They need a word in their shell like. In: COH2 Balance

Vickers kills rather than suppresses and the UC with suppressive fire... I don't know, might work if you had something suppressing to allow the suppression. Am I missing something? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ask the Strategist!9 Jan 2016, 17:38 PM The Sappers who appear in Field Recovery Operation are somewhat more expensive than ordinary Sappers and can't build or lay mines. Other than their salvaging and mine sweepers do they have any buffs to compensate? Given the only half reliable AT available to the Brits is the 6 pounder which hopefully destroys at range the wrecks at 4CP should be on the other side of the battlefield. In: Strategy Desk
