Thanks Cuddletronic, you're the best! |
It's "supposed" to be down for 30 min or less... 90 min ago. |
Also, having a UC commander close by will increase the Firefly(s) rate of fire. High ROF + High Damage/Pen = dead Axis armour. |
IMO Firefly against every Axis armour except Elefants or JT. Just keep it alive and support it with infantry, cromwells, or churchills. At Vet2 or 3, one or two firefly(s) can easily pen a KT and Tiger. |
MGs take a while to build and they're slow moving compared to regular infantry. If they're spamming 3 MGS from the start, they would have very little mobility and map presence, not to mention slow time to travel and set up. You as USF have an easy advantage in most cases.. |
When it comes to late game, avoid spreading your army out too thin. Allow some zones to become buffer zones for you to react, esp as USF.
Inf mines are available for Assault engineers or riflemen (rifle company ) |
I do it too. It helps me to see map features (flanking routes, cover) that I would not have discovered in the default map orientation. |
How about making IR-HT require you to set up manually, similar to the 'healing' ability on the USF ambulance. The IR-HT is immobile while in scanning mode, and you have to de-select the scan mode to move it again. It will have a cooldown before making the option available again. The unit still performs the same way, it just has a minor disadvantage while it is active. |
Yes, you have the idea. Don't spam REs (heck, I don't build REs unless the original squad was wiped out). What I meant is to occasionally use REs to probe, scout, and provide LOS for your troops (at least until mid game). They work in sync with your Rifles.
Ideally, the first volley should be directed at REs. RE losses is better than losing your expensive 28MP Rifles. And retreating your REs due to an MG is better than retreating your Rifles (and thereby reducing your field presence). |
Until the patch comes around, it's difficult to implement hard counters.
For now, bait the AEC into a gren-faust by hiding the latter behind something. Avoid chasing it. You're just stalling to build better units.
Facing the UKF as wehr, I find that you have to exercise a lot of restraint. Out-turtle and out-defend the ukf (hopefully that made sense).
That's the best suggestion I can offer. |
