I have two of them but as we all know, the game does not support SLI I mostly play 1s at medium settings at 1920 X 1200. The game starts good but at the end when there is a lot of fire and smoke, it falls down to about 10-25 FPS. Not all the time, it depends on how much is going on. I would tell you to buy a new AMD card because i never saw someone having problems with AMD on COH2. I like NVIDIA better and i am thinking to upgrade with NVIDIA again but i am hesitating because of all this BS optimization. No one can guarantee me that if i buy a GTX 980 or 970 the game will run smoothly at max setting. Thank you for that RELIC, Great freaking Job I also play only COH1 and 2. SC never got to me, i don't like the fantasy settings so much. I am old school too I didn't forget my GPU. It's dead ! Atm, I'm running my intel HD 4000 as a backup. This is simply bullshit. Do not try to optimize your PC to run CoH2. It's not possible because some hardware runs better and some worse for no reasons. Take a game like Fallout 4 or Battlefield 4. If you can run these games, you have a good PC. If you can run CoH2 smoothly, you're just a lucky guy. Hey Stafkey, Appreciate what you're saying. Tbh, only games I play are sc2, CoH1, CoH2. I play with everything on lowest settings and no replay system. The irony is that.... ME TOO ! I need a new GPU but no idea what to get. If you could take a minute to reply I'd really appreciate it. I read some reviews/benchmarks for CoH2 but they were outdated, they certainly won't include relevant info from the last few patches performance wise - Plus, some say CoH2 favors nvidia cards. I don't know about that. So, let's ask the community themselves. If you'd like to, please post: 1. Your PC specs. Here are mine: CPU i5 3570k (stock 3.4ghz, OC up to 4.2ghz) + 240gb SSD + 16gb DDR3 2. Do you run the game at 1080p ? Medium? High? Highest settings? 3. Any issues? Can it handle 2v2/3v3/4v4? Thread: Close the pocket: Balanced ? 8 Dec 2015, 08:56 AM Hi, Been a while since I've played. I was having a 2v2 as Russians/USK vs doubled Ost. By late game we were dominating and in a very comfortable position. Then, all hell broke lose. We sustained an absurd amount of losses from arty that I hadn't experienced since the vCoH Brit-Arty-spam days. Lol, was extremely tough to comeback from. Eh, I didn't see it mentioned too recently in the Balance forum, so, it can't be that bad...? Seemed horrific at the time. EDIT: I see why. Very clever. They cut off one crucial point that effectively made the entire map arty-capital. lolz. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Best counter to heavy armor in 2v2?8 Dec 2015, 08:50 AM Hello CoHmmunity 2.0, It's been a while and I just wanted to ask you guys a few Q's: 1) Is the tank hunter commander a viable choice in 2v2? 2) What are the best counters to KT's/panther blobs? I recall playing using t35/85s in 1v1, not so sure about 2v2.. Mass SU-85 to counter. Mass AT guns worthwhile if low on fuel? 3) Best way to utilize conscripts ?
