I don't know why what level you are or what type of games you play, but for 1v1 that's certainly not the case. The Falls are arguably the most versatile elite unit in the game considering their weapons, cloak, grenades and DPS, which means they have a solution for everything. Combined that with the Amazing Valiant Assault ability which you will often have sufficient munitions to use several times in the late game, you are looking at a quite solid (but somewhat situational) doctrine. I just played my first proper PvP game, and it was pretty exciting, even managed to win it, but one allways looks for ways to improve. so if someone has time / wants to have a laugh seeing 2 noobs doing weird stuff, and could drop some advise, it would be amazing! my main "concerns" are about my build order and unit choice (should I go conscripts if I'm gonna get guards? the flame truck worked, but it was just my oppo forgetting about the MG?). The stat page says it was "efficient", but it just killed a guy and did some health damage. I looked it up and on the internet people talk like it's a mean, green, oneshot machine, how do you do that? I really love the thing, got like 12 for my FoW army, and would like to use it better. It is still a very good damage dealer, but less efficient at wiping compared to earlier. However, the real strength of it is in its very long barrage range, which often makes it possible to bombard your opponents head quarters from a safe distance. but if you don't need this, then the standard mortar is also just fine In: Replays
Thread: Fallshirmjager usage8 Jan 2019, 10:22 AM Falls have a similar problem as panzerfussiliers in that they are in a faction which already has heaps of versatile and competent non-doctrinal infantry. combine this with their late arrival and they are indeed a unit that can be difficult to fit in. To answer OPs question: Never pick the luftwaffe doctrine before you have 3CP and plan on getting a fallschirmJäeger unit. Get the unit if you need to replace a wiped volks unit and use them somewhat like a sniper fighting from far away or behind cover, or cloak them and sneak around for some cheeky wipes of team weapons or retreating squads. Never get more than 2 squads of them unless you are a top 100 player and really know what you are doing. I have beaten so many OKW opponents simply due to the fact that they get star struck by the falls and sink all their manpower into reinforcing them, making it impossible for them to get out their armor in time. Thread: The mine placement8 Jan 2019, 09:49 AM I have to priorities for placing mines - convenience and strategic. Convenience is to have my engineers planting a mine while they are capping a point. Considering they are forced to stay in one place anyway while capping, they might as well keep busy by either wiring of cover that the enemy might use or place a mine. if it's an all-purpose mine then I place it on the most likely place that the opponent will enter when he tried to cap the point. If it's an AT-mine I will only place it if it's a place that the opponent might likely move a vehicle, which usually means a road. Strategic placement are hotspots where I'm not simultaneously capping, but where it's very likely that the opponent will run into it. this again is most likey on roads, retreat paths or behind a sandbag or hard cover where the opponent is likely to move his troops. We already tried a lot of strategies but they keep spamming their infanteries and our UC's dont even seem to beat them and their sturmpioneers can defeat our UC's just with their normal guns. And as soon their grenardeers push us it is nearly impossible to kite with the UC's because the range of their faust abilities is too large ,so UC's seem useless too but were doing anything wrong so we would appreciate any kind of help and support The UC can be a bit hard to handle for newer players as the pathing is not always great. So if you struggle with it you might be better off skipping it. And if you really want it, then just get the vickers upgrade instead of the wasp, so you won't have to worry too much about getting within faust range. In: Replays

It is almost impossible to give a proper review on anything larger than a 2v2 game, because matchmaking and game itself is not really balanced towards this scale. The only real advice I can give is this: 1. Communicate with your team mates 2. Identify what units you need to get and where you need to support. 3. try to focus on one area of the map, so you don't loose track of your units 4. Be respectfull to both your team mates and opponents. Nobody likes being called a Noob and in a match with eight players some people are always going to be weaker/less experienced than others. Overall the end games stats are not really that significant towards performance as you can have dealt a ton of damage to some armor without killing it, while your opponent might have delt much less damage but actually destroyed your tanks. If you ever get around 1v1 or possibly 2v2 games I will be more than happy to review it though In: Replay Reviews

If anyone has tips on how to better do so, please do share. Yup. JLI are just insanely broken ATM. Playing as US, I've had most sucess using the mechanized and just go balls deep with the WC51 and just put on full pressure. I find that the WC51 is extremely stong against OKW in the early game and scales well into the late game if you can keep it alive. This way you might be able to get ahead and hope you can keep the snowball rolling. Otherwise the JLI and sector assault will eat you alive. In: Replays

Thread: Puma is delayed4 Jan 2019, 14:25 PM I mean, it's not really THAT delayed as you should easily have your Leichte Mechanized by the time you reach 5 CP. So the only real difference is that you now have to actaully wait for the build time wich means that you have to predict if and when you actually need the Puma. This is not unreasonable at all that you are not able to instantly call in a counter the second you need it. Furthermore Wehrmacht has tons of soft and hard counters to the t70 like fausts, tellers, shrecks and Pak guns. In: Ostheer Strategies
