Hello! Watched it, here are some tips Actually it was a really fun match, pleasure to watch You made a few mistakes but you lost mostly to RNG. Thanks to the full model squadwipes. #RNGame I especially liked the following: - First 10 min where you always repositioned your MG42s - The fact that you were thinking (getting a panther when saw the tank horde, etc) I disliked the following: - The great RNG favor to the USF player. Clearly he got blessed so hard you can't even tell. General problemsT1 placement Retreat low health team weapons to reinforce / heal (2 model MG42 could've died to an attack). Focusing on only 1 side - most of the time people just stall out games as if 3rd VPs and flanks never existed. Okay, it's forgivable as you started capping the points on the flanks from about thw 16-18 min mark. Assgren grenade assault won't work against stuarts But if they were there, you could've thrown those grenades at the mortar to wipe it. You saw that he went for Lt + captain combo, you could've gone for T4 instead of T3. He delayed his tech so badly, a fast Brummbar could've closed the game really quickly. Lt + M15 + captain + Stuart = 230 fuel, with Major = 350 fuel, with Sherman = 460 fuel, BP2 + BP3 + T4 + Brummbar = 300 fuel with another Brummbar = 460 fuel So you could've gotten 2 Brummbars when he would've managed to get 1 Sherman to counter it. And they can deal with any infantry + a Sherman is not really a big threat to them either. There were big MP floats a few times, getting a second pak when facing a lot of tanks is never a bad idea. T3 + T4 in under 30 mins is a waste. Especially that you only built 1 StuG. Don't waste mp + muni on bunkers against tank horde as it can be killed in 4 shots. (And as the USF guy had 5 tanks at the same time at a point, it's pretty much a dead idea ) Wasted muni on fausts a lot of times as you couldn't have followed it up with pak shots, lot of unneccessary bundle nades thrown = Totally wasted muni all the time. Next time think ahead what you will ACHIEVE with it and at what COST. Losing 2 models of a PGren squad (68 manpower) + throwing a 45 muni grenade to kill 2 models of a riflemen squad (56 manpower) is not worth it. Always toggle prioritize vehicle on panthers and other TDs. You could've killed the 2 sherman instead of one if you panther hadn't derped out to kill a crewmember of the ATG that was far away, not facing your tank. Should've chosen lightning war for the AT strafes. Of course you don't know what to expect, but choosing a doctrine later can help you win matches. Always support ATGs. Your Tiger was way too back from your ATG so couldn't defend it. There were no tanks so you could've just reversed it back to base. Time marked problems5.40 min mark: Sniper got killed, next time use attack move not right click. 10.40 min mark: Got another sniper. Getting one this late is just a huge waste of manpower especially that you needed a pak instead of a sniper because there was an M15 AA HT. 14.40 min mark: Lost the mg in the house. Always reposition them if the opponent throws smoke. 22 min mark: Built T3, should've gone for T4 instead. Brummbar would've been a god against those riflemen hordes as he only had 1 ATG. 23.20 min mark: You got baited hard as you went in for that stuart too deep, should've killed it with the pak earlier (222 can't deal with stuart alone). 45 min mark: Should've pushed in mid with your tanks to kill all of them as he didn't have any backup. Afaik Teller mine bug is a widely known one. And it's not limited to Comet particularly or only the british tanks. I've seen proof for all 3 allied factions. - I've planted a Teller on a road on Moscow Outskirts: T-34/85 rolled over it -> no damage / engine - My friend planted a Teller on a road on Semoskiy (1v1, summer variant): M10 Wolverine rolled over it -> no damage / engine - Opponent planted a Teller on a road on a 2v2 map: I rolled over it with a Centaur AA -> no damage / engine But don't worry guys, this is a feature In: COH2 Bugs |

So after a long sleep let's restart this. Sorry for my rant yesterday, but this was a really bad game. Firstly it looked like you don't even know what to do the whole game. Never teched - a single Tiger vs 3 ATGs and 2 SU-76s is a dead Tiger. A few P4s or StuGs could've worked better. Don't pick lost fights - I don't know if it was the lack of micro or simply can't decide them. If it was micro, then start using control groups if you haven't done that before. CTRL + "number 1-9". This way you just press the appropriate number and R / T (depends on you use grid keys or not). Again, as you said that you called in assgrens for their mobility. Then use their Sprint ability. It's not expensive and you always had the muni for it. Oh and don't run forward to an MG. You never tried to get off their firing arc. You did the same mistakes over and over again. If you know there's an MG in the house and you can't clear it, just ignore that part of the map. But don't run into it multiple times. You saw that he has 3 mortar bulletins. Then prepare yourself to counter mortars / maxims. Assgrens could've worked if you fully utilize them. You bought 3 paks, where the opponent was not even near to build his T3 not speaking of a T-70. And you did this completely for the sole reason you floated 1k manpower. Oh and you never built T1. Wehr needs a lot of team weapons to be effective and not buying a mortar or 2 in an urbanish map is a deadly mistake. As I said about the 222s earlier. It's not the whole story that you can't micro them. You rarely want these kind of light vehicles (UC, kübel, 222, US jeep, etc) because their pathing will make you cry. And for the last thing. Again micro, you never really moved anything. Most of the time in a unit's life it was idle. So I couldn't really write anything if nothing happened. Okay so I watched it. Most of this wall of text is just blablabla. This isn't going to be like my other reviews because I can't make it like one. Simply there were no actual stuff that I could write. I either write like 4 pages writing down every single mistake or write a small but comprehensive one (as every mistake was the same). I stopped writing after the 7 min mark. Firstly: You should know what to expect from bulletins (ofc he went for T2 with 3 mortar bulletins) Assgrens standing idle for 10 sec Use control groups maybe you can improve your micro with that. Big float, Should've gotten double mortars instead of double 222. 222s against garrisoned MGs in big houses are not really good. And 222s in general are a bad idea if you can't micro a static unit properly. Use abilities - "assgrens were called in for their mobility". Then use the Sprint. And don't run forwards an MG. Try to get out of it's fire arc. Not a big deal isn't it? Knowing units / Unit capabilities - You ran into the same MG multiple times (over 30, I counted!) in under a 15 min time span. The one MG you saw entering at the 1.40 min mark. What did you expect? That the opponent will get bored and eventually leave that house? That house was a goldmine for him. Micro - most of the time your units were standing idle in the middle of the map (not literally tho). 2.20 min mark: Ran into mg in house when you saw it entering earlier. A lot of times after it. 4 min mark: MGs standing idle at base for 20 sec waiting for reinforce. 4.20 min mark: Should've thrown the assgrens grenade assault at the house preemtively so maxim would've taken big chunk of damage, not after the mg got in it. 6.50 min mark: Sprint could've saved that assgren from getting pinned And all of these same things happened over and over again for 40 minutes. You just have to learn the whole game's basics. I can't help with that. And learn when to surrender. 22 pop cap vs 70, 29 pop cap vs 96. TL;DR: - You need to seriously improve your micro - Need to learn the whole game basics - Think like a normal people (like don't get a tiger if you only have 3 PGrens besides that) - Stop floating, buy units. Literally everything, even a pio is better than nothing. - Git gud (sorry I just couldn't resist after the replay) PS: I'm sick, tired and everything and this was a really bad match so thanks for your undersanding, I hope you forgive me. Oh, and I looked up your older replay request. Hector watched it. Literally every single mistake was the same in the 2 replays. We can't help you if you don't want to improve. Why wouldn't have I played? I suppose you are speaking of 2v2s, otherwise the opponent really lacks map control. I'm not so sure that you can or can't shoot through the hedges as I started vetoing that map recently (thanks to how I don't know, and don't want to know where to move in 1v1s). But anyways if the opponent is building a mortar pit it means that it's -1 section on the field or anything. And I think that against brits you should always be on the move.
