Unfortunately, Relic/SEGA still underestimate the momentous task it will become to monetize an RTS eSport game. If the marketing team behind COH2 actual took this serious then they would have fixed the broken war spoils system a long time ago or replaced it with in-game currency. 100/10 great post In: Lobby

But it won't happen because it won't generate much revenue. Thread: An idea to replace buyable commanders8 Nov 2015, 21:30 PM Hey fellas, what do you guys think about adding the ability to name units similar to how Counter Strike does it through purchasable name tags? could it even be possible to have names show up on armour like decals? 1 purchasable name tag per unit (gotta collect them all if your going to impress the internet) Use that 1337 nametag $$$ to cover the loss of making the commanders free by either: allowing players to progressively earn each commander as they gain level (get them newbies hooked) allowing players to progressively earn commanders as they play games with each fraction make all commanders part of the base game and stop hiding critical content behind pay walls (lol warspoils) #smart Coh2 already has a profanity filter that could be re-purposed to take care of most offensive naming shenanigans I think this is a harmless way to monetarily support relic and the game without raping players The in game store should be for vanity and aesthetic items only #esports (if not I demand purchasable V1 rockets and atom bombs) One of the biggest complaints about coh2 is the commander model (steam reviews) Let me know what you guys think.. maybe if this gets like 50,000 views and thousands of replies (ya right ) relic will take note In: Lobby

However an Italian or Japanese fraction or even a mixture of eastern powers (romania, hungry, so on) would not only have ample unique units to make up an army but would also have winter uniforms for the winter maps In: COH2 Gameplay

I'm not super up to date with stats but I'd imagine anti-vehicle mines are more likely to destroy engines than general purpose mines. If they don't then that's a bit silly and they should change that. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Centaur8 Nov 2015, 01:11 AM As a heavy anti infantry counter centaur seems to the job well, it is almost like a mobile medium armour bofors emplacement. However against more balanced enemy armies a cromwell counters more units making it the better choice. as for fractions being A symmetrical that's a whole different discussion..... In: COH2 Balance
