Thread: 3v3: massive comeback thru arty support19 Jul 2017, 15:26 PM You know those kind of war movies where a small unit is defending a spot against overwhelming odds and manages to hold it with the help of arty or air support? I love those too and I usually don't upload replays here but I feel obliged to share this with you for the entertainment factor to watch this. Imagine: 3v3, Lazur factory, 2x brits + 1 sov vs 3x OKW. Its late game and the score is 43 to 350 in the Axis favor, it looks pretty darn grim but the nearly non stop arty support from my sextons and call in barrages allows us to win it with 9-0! Lean back, fast forward to late game, grab your popcorn and simply leave your camera on the middle VP - enjoy! P.S: yes obviously the axis should have won it ez if they would have attempted to retake the left VP once in a while, instead of attempting to get mid no matter what, but no entertainment factor without mistakes it is In: Replays

Thread: UKF on Life Support10 Dec 2015, 17:30 PM This whole game will soon be on life support if nothing happens with axis dominance in 3v3+ game modes. OKW are ridiculously easy to play, not to mention that Axis still are much more easier to play in those game modes without paper tanks that allies have to deal with. And to all those people talking about 1v1: There will be no community left soon if you ignore the most played gamemodes in this game. Coh2 will never be an esport anyway, you are deluded if you really believe its gonna happen. In: COH2 Balance

Zis guns are resistant due to large squad numbers and difficult to kill by mortars or other range weapons before knocking your armor dead and su85s can spot for themselves. Such duels are quite often on open maps. whats your point? Axis still have a better time dealing with taht due to more on map artillery options. Try to break defensive doctrine OKW as brits in the current form without croc rush or offmap arty In: COH2 Gameplay

Unless or until there's some alternative warning for those folks, there should be less, not more of it. and the magical smoke canisters dropping from the sky is a big fuck you to pretty much every arty ability unless its a static target. Do we want arty to be area denial only or have the chance to actually surprise mobile forces as well, if they didnt pay attention? I prefer the latter. Regarding OP suggestion: a buff is in order, the problem in brit case tho is that you cannot counter the guns directly, since they are in the base. Would start with higher dmg, less spread and higher mun cost & cd duration to compensate In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Regarding the cold tech removal22 Sep 2015, 11:00 AM Jump back to quoted post22 Sep 2015, 10:49 AMBad_Vader The whole point of turning blizzard always on in some maps is to prevent these possible lull moments when blizzards normally happen since the blizzard will always be on, players aren't "forced" to sit on their ass for the next minute or so because of the blizzard. I totally forgot about offmap support being turned off during blizzards. I'll have to edit my suggestions to include that. the problem was the RNG but you can re-design it with regular timers, which would make it predictable and manageable like starting at a certain minute inside the game or at a certain VP counter number. Similar to the BF4 map Gulf of Oman. In: COH2 Gameplay
