Why is it that reviving old threads, or "necroing" as the cool kids say, is akin to child molestation in the eyes of the chattering nabobs of the Internet?
I love when interesting threads get revived personally.
If you noticed, as you should have, this thread is still open...however, it was unsuitable for US Forces Strategies, which is why it has been moved.
On a more general note, however, necroing is not encouraged on old, more serious threads, simply because posters often respond to others who no longer log in, while others necromantists take bad points about tactics, stats etc apparently failing to realise that one or more patches have intervened. In effect, the necromancy effectively is off topic, since it often refers to a state of affairs which did not exist when the old thread started life.
To equate necromancy with paedophilia, however, seems extreme.
