So one random game between top 150 players is representative for the current balance?
Dont waste your time trying to discuss with that guy... I tried yesterday in Twitch Chat but it's pointless.
He claims that 1.) Axis and allies are on the same balance level,
2.) that brit units like comets are completely fine for their price even though he NEVER played this faction before as u can see on stats and at last that
3.) "mortars cant one shot full health squads in this game, only retards lose squads to mortars"
-just quoted him
At the very end of Relic's "10th anniversary stream" for CoH they responded to some questions of the community . I was the first one asking "Are there any major balance adjustments planned for CoH in near future?"
And their exact respond in Twitch chat was "We are looking into this and plan to release a balance update, but not before the END OF THE YEAR. But there are only MINOR adjustments planned."
So all we as community can do now is either
a) try to contact the devs and make their attention to the current blatant balance issues and hope they do something against it or allow more customiziation, for exmple by implementing major parts of balance mods like the one of Generals Gentlemen, or we
b) surrender on this game
P.S. When I heard there is an update coming in early october I knew it will be a joke because it was very very doubtfully for me that Relic is releasing something 2-3 months before it was planned to go live.
Where is your Pak 43 Emplacement and MG 42? GPIIScotch
I don't see any advantage you got by your commander. [L2P]BartonPL
No shock troops and conscript. Besides, you should go T4, T34-76 for ramming or Katyusha.
You guys are good at control and micro your units , but basically no brain and strategy used.
No tactical at all.
Well, yeah. Allies are OP in all modes. Still waiting for a patch before i start playing team games again . . . . .
I dont like whine threads btw
Relic said that they wanna release another balance patch till the end of the year. God I hope so much that they have a realstic image of the current balance issues, or in other words: that they actually play their own game, so that their adjustments go into the right direction. Threads like this wont have any effect on that, I'm just trying to kill the time until that with a "special" kind of humour
"This is such an awesome game! From the 1st steps to being a decent player in this game.
Remember this, young apprentice: The 2 cores/keys of this game are micro management and combined arms. Once you realised how the game mechanics work, what good unit combinations are and what kind of engagements you will lose and which not and as soon as you trained your attention and micro on the battlefield, you have high chances to become a very good player !
Oh and do NOT abuse, my apprentice! "
"BUT WAIT, I should not abuse? But my brain has the size of a peanut. At the same time, I am NOT interested in playing the actual game, I just care about my rank on the ladders "
"Oh, your brain has the size of a peanut? Ok, np. Then go for it, abuse. Spam 3 or even more USF-, brit- or 120mm- mortars, or generally just spam indirect fire like there was no tomorrow. As everyone knows, RNG is the best friend of most indirect fire units of the game! A mortar, especially the ones from UKF and USF, sometimes rewards you with a full squad wipe from a long distance, WITHOUT any micro investment aka auto fire!
The axis are extremely dependant on smart combined arms strats, while you can knock those strats out by unilaterally unit spam or even unit blob if you play allies! Isn't that funny? I hope I could help you "
I was a HUGE fan of the original Cossacks: European Wars, but I've heard from gaming magazines and people playing it that this remake has many bugs so far, even more bugs than the original from 2000 and that pathing and the AI is very horrible
