Thread: USF Rangers2 Aug 2015, 03:48 AM By giving Paras both the options of going either close or long range oriented they kind of eliminated the need of having any other elite infantry; thing is it forces you to go airborne if you want your infantry not to suck ass late game (sorry Rifle's vet bonus is meh). I would love seeing them as a middle ground between rifles and paras and available with the Major tier building. 5-6 man squad; garands,sprint and focus fire would do the trick. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Revisit the ISU-152 changes?2 Aug 2015, 03:38 AM The reload time for switching shell is what is killing it; a good player will bait the tank with either AT infantry or tanks, wait for it to swtich shells and then proceed to hardcounter it. IMO in it's current form it is highly situationnal; not bad but not really worth it either. In: COH2 Balance

Soviets have demos and maxims that actually do shit now, USF has the .50 which can also suppress blobs without fear of rnades from max distance. The MG42 absolutely wrecks anything in front of it, be it infantry, or light vehicles. OKW needs something more to help vs. blobs. The best thing to do would be to fix the ISG's vet. Currently, it gives you bonuses to the barrage, which is the worst part of the unit. If the vet helped the auto-fire, the ISG would be in a good place as a blob counter. Agreed; the thing still fires too slowly and it's AoE is abbysmal. Though I would still demand for the mg34 to be core and kubel to be doctrinal for at the least not entirely relying on RNG arty to deal with blobs. In: COH2 Balance

I wish every faction would have this level of flavor at least concerning their core units (I'm looking at you conscripts) In: Lobby
