There are ways to satisfy people who have already purchased commanders, that wouldn't stop this idea from moving forward. It would be worth it for us, it would be worth it for them. I don't mind seeing new factions, but not at the cost of the commander system staying the way it is. I agree with this In: Lobby

Flashback: It is 2009, two best friends set out to make the best shoutcasts ever. Flashfoward: It is now 2012, it is the future!. One of the best friends is dead, killed by a runaway ride-on-lawnmower; the shoutcasts will never be made. On a completely unrelated note, Thirsty Thursday is back, with mediocre commentary and vague references to the 2003 Game of the Year: Company of Heroes! Gasp as 50Cal briefly talks about the game, laugh as Stevemongler jokes about being lonely, and then cry when he reveals in a shocking twist that his loneliness is no joke. Like everyone else, I can't wait for COH2, but to be honest, their weak carrot on a stick offerings to buy now are not a convincing enough reason to fork over my money before release. Especially seeing as the release date has been pushed back, and at one point it was dubious as to whether the game would ever be released. So how do you guys feel about paying early? Consider that game reviews are embargo'd right up until launch, but you can pay months in advance. Is this good for us? This rockpapershotgun article is a great read on the topic. In: Scrap Yard

It works in any other game I try it with, just not COH. Just a black screen, no fps counter. Trying to get the next episode of Thirsty Thursday out and this is being a serious hindrance. Thread: Thirsty Thursday Crew14 Feb 2013, 22:10 PM Hi all I'm 50cal, one of the casters from Thirsty Thursday, the notoriously un-updated shoutcast which is barely even about Company of Heroes, despite us trying our best to commentate on a game. Just started recording new episodes, hoping to have the first out next weekend provided Stevemongler runs out of tissues and hand cream and finally gets around to editing the footage. I'm sure he's around here somewhere....
