Thread: 2-8 Vire River City30 Nov 2015, 17:28 PM Hello All, Like you all care, but here is my newest map pack added to the workshop. Its true to the old map pack that Henry666 did back in 2007. This was my favorite map from Coh1 and no one had remade it yet. Took some time this weekend to get it out for the community. Hope you guys enjoy it. Thread: Error Uploading Maps20 Nov 2015, 23:05 PM I was having the same problem last night when uploading my newest map as well. The problem is you have to let everything you have to subscribed to update before you can publish because it kills your bandwidth for uploading to steam. I left my pc on all day yesterday at work with CoH2 open at the manage screen, and then came home and uploaded the map just fine. Hope this help! Best of luck Dankbuds In: Mapping Discussion
Thread: Older Coh1 maps not loading in CoH2 WB20 Nov 2015, 17:18 PM Update: Solution So I found a work around to get older CoH1 maps (pre 2009 which is not supported with coh2 WB) to load in CoH2 World builder. This is how you do it. 1. Open the map in CoH1 WB (New Steam version) and save the file. 2. Grab the all files including the tgas from your Coh1 directory and copy all the files to your CoH2 Directory (companyofheroes2/mods/data/scenarios/mapname) 3. Open in Coh2 WB and start remapping to make it work for CoH2 Pretty easy right?? By saving the file with CoH1 WB it allows you to update the file to version which is supported by CoH2 WB and will open. Took a while to figure out the correct procedure though. Thread: NIS help19 Nov 2015, 17:55 PM These tutorials were for Coh2 in july of 2014. Maybe it has changed slightly since then. I wish I was more had more experience with NIS. Thread: Older Coh1 maps not loading in CoH2 WB18 Nov 2015, 23:45 PM Hello All, After doing bunch of research last night I found that there is a problem with older CoH maps opening in Coh2 World builder. Most maps before patch 2.51 (made 2010 and before) in CoH1 are not supported in CoH2 world builder. Does anyone have a work around for this or been able to open old CoH1 maps from say 2007ish? I can open them fine in Coh1 World builder. Will be troubleshooting some more later tonight to see if I can get a working transfer. I will also post my warning log to see if anyone can see something that I haven't when I get home from work. If I solve this I will let you all know. Appreciate any help on this subject. Thread: Looking for a good SGB extractor that works with Coh1 maps18 Nov 2015, 01:33 AM Update: Solution Got it to work. Just as I thought. Need a separate extractor for COH1 sgas. Feeling good about v5.1 (Last version for Coh1) If nothing still works with the old SGA files, I always have corsix and the official modding tools to try as well to try.
