Thread: Skins - winter in summer27 May 2016, 16:29 PM For the Panzergrau West Pattern, it seems it was simply the standard Grey color of the German tanks without camouflages ( like the Olive one for US ). I didn't notice that since the skin in CoH2 is very blue compared to the real grey color. Thread: Skins - winter in summer27 May 2016, 16:02 PM I saw them a long time ago and it wasn't on Internet, but i will try to find out. What i meant in the P.S was that the USF didn't have standardized camouflages on its vehicles in ww2. Most of the tanks were built and send on the front withtout being paint ( They were juste in standard Olive Drab ) in factories, unlike many German tanks who were paint directly after the production. So yeah, many US tanks had the same pattern ( following their unit and theater of operations of course, they didn't paint a sand pattern in Ardennes lol ) but the crew itself decided how to paint their own tank, like all field-camouflages. Thread: Churchill is garbage27 May 2016, 12:58 PM Ok it's a big piece of steel, so what ? Its damage is inexistant, and his support potential too. It just sponges AT shots, and after ? The Crocodile has potential, the AVRE has potential, but the MK.VII has not. If we give the Churchill a real support role ( like infantry buffs etc. ) and turn it into an interesting support Heavy Tank then yes, we should limit it to 1. But for now, i don't know why we should. And currently the Churchill cost what ? 180 fuel ? And you call that "cheap" ? For such a big trashy tank ? Hmm... In: COH2 Balance

For the KT i agree, because it's a very powerful tank with a great survivability, so 1 per game should be great and balanced i think. ( Even though its tech is long and expensive ) But Panther ? We wouldn't need vetoes at all if maps didn't favor certain factions and play styles. It's not really an unbalance question i think, it's rather a preference question. Personnally, i don't like to play on some maps, so i veto them. Not because they give me an advantage or a disadvantage. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Veto for summer and winter maps?26 May 2016, 14:00 PM Yeah i totally agree. But the suggestion of the OP isn't the solution, as well as add some veto points. Maybe add the fact that veto a summer map AND the winter version only cost 1 veto. That could do the trick. In: COH2 Gameplay

Otherwise for the OKW skins, they are all historical except the Panzergrau West pattern ( I'm not sure it is, but maybe ) For US i know that the Field Camouflage/Four Color Camouflage/Ardennes Field-Modified Camouflage/Baker, Dog and Fox Company Camouflages existed and were used in Europe/Afrika ( For the Dog ) and Italy ( For the Four Color at least ). Don't know for the others. PS : The Field Camouflages can not be historically accurate because ... they were Field Camouflages lol. Most of the crews painted their own tank how they could.
