I've had no luck! I made an _alp.tga file with the parts I wanted transparent (painted black) and it did not work. I messed with the alpha channel in the _dif file and it didn't work. The default burn settings look for an _alp, so this is the way to do it! Have you had any success trying this out? In: Modding and Tools

After I had released all of the separate skin packs, I then realized that I could do exactly as you described. OOPS! From now on I will do just that so people don't have to d/l multiple HUGE files for something that could be released as one. I feel a bit embarrassed I did it that way, but I'm learning as I go... Finished Kingtiger and Sturmtiger: Kingtiger Sturmtiger Time willing, I'll get a chance to work on the Puma and halftracks today. Also, I tried messing with the normal map/alpha channel to see if I could make mesh side skirts for the panzer IV, but have had zero luck. Anyone have ideas, or point me the right direction as how to make parts of a model transparent? Or is this not possible considering we can't modify the model itself? In: Modding and Tools
