Thread: [Winter Balance Update] Vehicle armor changes19 Jan 2021, 22:07 PM Thanks for the answers @Stuglife when something like this is mentioned I'd assume it is at least something that happened in the last year. So looking at the previous page still would not have given me the explanation I needed. Also, The nerfs of the armor I believe did not go without reason. Won't we end up in a similar situation where we have to reduce the armor further (and then maybe in the future reduce the pen even more) and end up going in circles. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: [Winter Balance Update] Vehicle armor changes19 Jan 2021, 21:36 PM Hello guys, My question is regarding the following mentioned in the balance update beta patch notes: SU 85 "With the reduction of armour on certain Axis tanks, along with the SU85 receiving improved penetration from previous patches, the unit no longer needs high veterancy bonuses for penetration." Veterancy 3 Penetration from -30% to -20% M36 Jackson "With the reduction on armour of certain Axis tanks, along with the M36 receiving improved penetration from previous patches, the unit no longer needs high veterancy bonuses for penetration." Veterancy 2 penetration bonus from +30% to +20% I have seen a trend of reducing the armor on allied vehicles making the german medium tanks a bit more potent cases, most of them are aimed at reducing the rear armor in order to promote more active flanking in games. In the current patch the only armor changes that are happening are; Reducing the Brumbar's armor from 260 to 250, Reducing the Churchill's rear armor from 180 to 150 and the ISU-152's rear armor from 150 to 110. But in the previous patch, the only 3 armor changes happened which were the reduction of the Jackson M36's from 130 to 110, IS-2 Armor from 375 to 340, and also the increase of the Brumbar's armor from 240 to 260. Is the armor reduction on german tanks something that is still planned for later iterations of this patch preview or is the penetration reduction otherwise justified, since the only armor change in the last 2 patches on the axis side is an increase of 20 and then a reduction of 10 armor from the front of the Brumbar. Hey Sturmpanther, I would like to know your opinion on the current state in 3v3. There are many maps in that pool that (in my opinion) are way too big for that game mode Like; Steppes, Lienne, Essen and General Mud and (maybe Angermunde?). Do you share this sentiment or do you think they are good for the game mode in away? I'd like to know your perspective. Is there no way to bring back older slightly smaller maps that were removed? like wolfs lair or other past 3v3 maps and community map contest winners. Also if Rzhef Winter is too big for 2v2 is there a chance the summer version will come back since the Ice is no longer a traversable piece of the map? Thanks, Gecko In: Lobby
Thread: Coh2 world builder crash using Nvidia graphics card20 Nov 2015, 17:50 PM Hello community, I am new here and I want to start working on a map with a friend of mine since we have been playing this game for so long. But the coh2 World Builder crashes whenever I am running it with my Nvidia graphics card. It doesn't crash when I am running it with my integrated graphics card. But when my intel graphics are running the editor the editor is really slow. I have the latest drivers installed for everything and even did a reinstal of windows for it to work but it still doesn't work. I have: GTX 860m i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50 GHz 16gb RAM Windows 8.1 64 Bit In: Mapping Discussion
Thread: WorldBuilder crash on map sharing30 Oct 2015, 15:46 PM Hello Coh2 world builder Community, I recently started making our first map for company of heroes 2 together with a friend of mine. And we are both working on the same map. (we have very detailed concepts and drawings to keep everything consistent). We are also new to this forum so I might post this in the wrong section. But We wanted to copy the map from his computer to mine so I can continue to work on it when he is not available but when I try to open the map in the worldbuilder crashes after about 5 seconds. This is only the case with the copied map. Other maps and testmaps work fine. Did we forget a step or is this simply not possible. Please help us. Thanks in advance, Gecko In: Mapping Discussion
