Or honestly tie the M8 Greyhound to tech and require either the LT or Capt + Motor Pool upgrade in order to build the Greyhound. That way it might work better in team games but not be as spammy in 1v1. |
I would be alright with the non-doc Churchill being a little more expensive. 490 manpower 175 fuel would probably be reasonable for it's performance. Comet should probably be lowered to the same cost point. |
Honestly just make the Greyhound 5 CP again or fix the bug with the Airdropped Combat Group being 2 CP. Otherwise I am fine with the rest of the commander and it's nice to see something other than Heavy Cavalry at least in 1's. |
Allowing the Tiger to bounce frontal shots a little more often I think would make it a bit more balanced. AT Gun walls and a Single Tank Destroyer seem to be able to shut the Tiger down these days pretty easily. Although I would like to see all call-ins get tied to tech. |
I would say their base MP Price isn't really the problem it's the cost of Bars that is more of an issue. Having to spend 120 muni on every squad is really expensive and USF is constantly bled for Munitions which I find is also a problem with Ostheer. I would rework Bar's to be similar to what they did with Bren guns. I would nerf the performance of the weapon a bit but make it cheaper so it's easier to double equip your squads to allow you to deal with upgraded Volks and Grens. But it would nerf their peak performance when they get Vet 3 and have 2x Bars. Which I think makes them a bit too powerful but it takes a while to achieve. Rifles are more expensive than Volks and Grens but generally win 1 on 1 engagements to compensate. This issue is they aren't as cost effect long-term. They struggle a bit in the mid game which is kind of where USF is at their weakest imo.

Generally my build order against OKW looks like this:
IS - IS - UC - IS - T2 - RE - AT Gun - AEC (if Panzer II) - Bolster (another RE is optional) - T3 - Centaur/Cromwell - Firefly - AVRE/Croc/Anvil Tactics into Churchill
Two Royal Engineers is recommended later in the game and also if you choose one of the commanders with Flamethrowers. Weapon Racks and Nades are nice when you have some munitions float. |
Currently I think going 4x Tommies and a Universal Carrier will allow you to compete with the standard 4 Volks spam. Usually, I tech after getting my base composition and then focus on getting a sapper to repair the UC and an AT Gun to help with vehicles if they show up. If the opponent decides to go for a Panzer II I generally will opt for an AEC to counter, otherwise focus on teching for a fast Centaur or Cromwell (if he has medium armor already). After that generally a Firefly into a Croc/AVRE or regular Churchill is recommended. The Comet isn't great currently for it's cost so I wouldn't recommend going for it. You can also spam Valentines if you want and that should work unless your opponent builds Puma's and out-micro's you or uses HEAT Rounds which are really good on the revamped Elite Armor Doctrine. I would say only get Weapon Racks and Nades when you find yourself floating munitions. |

gg I got rekt |
I would say just making Assault Engineers 1 CP would prevent them from being spammed. They aren't as affordable as JLI's and don't scale the same so slight nerfs would be fair. Armor Company is already the best USF commander this patch so this would probably bring it a bit more in line. |
