No, they still probably won’t be. Actually we may see Brits brought in against OKW on Crossing in the Woods, plus Brits actually have a moderately deep commander pool so they should be more viable in this tournament but they will predominately be a counter pick faction. Thread: KV1 and Churchill can take too much damage19 May 2019, 20:57 PM I think the KV-1 is probably fine for it's price point currently. It's more of a problem of the Panther being extremely expensive to tech for if you don't decide to skip building Tier 3 and the Stug being a mediocre tank destroyer. I would like to see tech costs go down slightly for Ostheer and hopefully the Stug buffs help it out a bit, it may still need a little more but we will have to wait for the patch to see how it performs. Then it might shine a bit more. I would be okay with the Jackson not being the best tank destroyer in the game and the HE Sherman not wiping Grens in almost one shot consistently but if they can't make the 76mm Sherman better the Easy 8 would probably be fine to have instead, especially because it's only tied to Rifle Company now which is a death sentence if you are playing against OKW. Obviously some slight nerfs might be in order but I think the 76mm should be a better generalist than the regular Sherman should be. Right now it's just kind of not worth spending extra resources when you could just get a standard Sherman or Jackson. In: Lobby

Thread: Tie Call-Ins to tech this patch26 Apr 2019, 04:29 AM Honestly all call-ins just need to be tied to the last stage of tech for each of their respective factions. Command Panther should require Tier 3. IS2 should require Tier 4, Tiger should at least require Battlephase 3 but maybe even Tier 4 depending on the timing of the unit. Pershing should require the Major, Churchill Croc should at least require Tier 3 but maybe even Hammer or Anvil to be tech'd similar to the Tiger. I would say the same should go for all other heavy tanks for each faction. Ideally, the CP requirement would be removed but if it isn't removed the units probably wouldn't need to be nerfed. The CP requirement hurts the heavies in team games but if they removed the CP requirement I get the feeling the heavies would be bat-shit OP in 1's since it would be a trade-off of going for 2 mediums or 1 heavy tank in which I would rather have the heavy tank in most cases. So for now leave the CP requirement on them and tie them to the last stage of tech for all factions. In: COH2 Balance

It should be used to counter builder units and the Kubel and to capture territory, it doesn't need to be a combat unit in my opinion. Otherwise, I think everything else about the commander is fine at the moment. This would indirectly nerf the Cav Rifles and the changes that have been proposed for the dozer blades will be a nerf as well which should make the commander more balanced overall. In: COH2 Balance
