Replays help others see the mistakes that you yourself missed. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you messed up in the economy and map control area's.

Actually was this a 1v1?

1v1, yes.
Economy was fine, I had control of the north and the south for most of the game. Replacing losses wasn't so much of an issue as more having the wrong army composition to deal with such a strange strategy, resulting a bunch of wipes that eventually snowballed. Only things I really fucked up on was losing the Pershing to some commando Raketens that jumped in from camo while it was repairing behind the lines, and not mining up while I had a muni float. But, anyway.


Theorycrafting: How do you deal with a unit like a Sturmtiger being so aggressively screened?

My go to was Rangers(Sturmtigered or crushed beneath the weight of the Volks), BAR Rifles (See previous) Pack Howis (Generally ineffective, probably bad micro on my part), a Sherman(Ended up being useful against isolated squads)and an M2 that got instantly Sturmtiger nuked. Jackson proved entirely ineffective due to shotblockers.

Main solutions I can think of in retrospect:
-Armour Company, Demo plays and M10s
-More mines to stop the blob and pick up periphery wipes
-Two Pack Howis
-Zook riflemen/RE blob to dive the Sturmtiger
-Advanced alien shielding systems to bounce the Sturmtiger rocket back into the Sturmtiger

The real mystery is why the Rangers don't have their Ardennes Assault voice acting.

Pretty much what Katitof said. Wehrmacht has a buttload of decent commanders currently, and the core faction is strong enough to help you try a number of unorthodox commander choices/builds if that's your jam. I find it to be among the more forgiving factions, too, if your micro lets you down or your cat gets stuck in your CPU or something and you end up losing an engagement or two.

Had just started playing Star Wars: The Old Republic at launch with a mate, and he was heckling me to hurry up and name my dude. I had just finished playing Dragon Age 2 the day before, so I tried 'Hawke', which was obviously taken. So I sat there in contemplation for 5 seconds before deciding that 'Hawking' sounded cool. Been using it ever since on everything.

Went by LaKream before that, after an old Counter Strike clan mate called me "La Cream of Le Crop" in a match we played.

Also I too am related to Prussian nobility, even had a Field Marshall in the family, way back when Clausewitz was around. Not too many Prussian noble houses of note, so, I'm sure you can Googlefu it rather than having me put my name on the internet and get murdered.
