Thread: Random Names5 Mar 2023, 04:26 AM Im testing this idea to make soldiers individual to their squad. So simply put, the sbps is just one soldier and you can put multiple together to make custom squads. And i dont like how each engineer for example, is called "Combat Engineer Squad", I know I can change the name of the squad to be something like "Combat Engineer" but i want it to instead be the persons name, so you can differentiate your soldiers from one another. So when you go and make that Engineer his names is "Sergey Nagovitsyn" or "Vladimir Vysotsky". Thank you for your time. In: Modding and Tools

Thread: Parachute units26 Feb 2023, 09:35 AM I have tried for hours to get my VDV squad to actually parachute down when dispatched, ive tried so many things and finally i found what i thought was the answer. Using the US paradrop i just simply replaced it so that the squad to spawn was my VDV, but still no luck, the US squad spawns still. Please help me, im sure its a very obvious answer so please be patient lol. Thank you In: Modding and Tools
Thread: Upgrading penals to have guns12 Feb 2023, 03:01 AM Ive managed to get the Penals to spawn without rifles, and have the upgrade appear successfully. but when i buy the upgrade and it ticks green, No weapons are given to the Penals, is this because they have no weapon hardpoint? because i removed their weapons by deleting the weapon table does that mean they cant have any weapons now? Thread: Upgrading penals to have guns10 Feb 2023, 12:30 PM I cannot for the life of me figure out upgrades. everytime i add an upgrade it just doesnt show up so im wondering what im missing. All i do is go to sbps and go to my squad, i then go on squad-upgrade and simply add one. For example i made it so my Penal squads have no rifles, and i want there to be an upgrade where i can give them Mosins, Im using a simple upgrade where one action is to "add" a mosin and the other is to "change" the mosin. And yet it doesnt appear, its not even that the upgrade doesnt work it just doesnt show up so im sure theres a very simple solution. Thanks in advance. In: Modding and Tools

Thread: Saving mods10 Feb 2023, 10:31 AM Ok ive done all that and ive reopened coh2 so many times, it says that my mod is 84Kb when its actually 85, this happenes all the time where my new Build just wont appear. The only solution i can find is to make a bunch of changes and then Build it and then it will finally get that 1Kb but it will still miss some. (((( In: Modding and Tools

Thread: Saving mods10 Feb 2023, 08:40 AM So to save my mods ive been saving my attributes and then "saving as" my mod builder and replacing the old save. then ive been building the mod AND rebuilding it. I dont know what exaclty im meant to do so as you can see ive just done it all. What is the correct way to do it? Oh and when i save and build my mods it takes forever to show up in coh2 is that normal? should i just be patient? Cheers In: Modding and Tools
