Thx Mortality.I just test it with the script and the -window -forceactive -lockmouse and -novsync. That was exactly what i wanted man...better performance,i can use now ultra,window mode that looks like fullscreen.I hope that the minimizing will never happen now!Perfect man,thx again! |

I dont like those annoying borders in windowed mode as you said, so i will try this method that you suggest asap.I have a feeling that this window mode will solve my problem,hope to make it run without borders.

No,no hotkeys,no multi monitor set up.I just want to play the game in fullscreen and not in window mode with commands like -window -forceactive -lockmouse in shortcut in order to avoid this from happening. |

As the title says my game Company of heroes (new steam version) randomly minimizing to desktop.
Is frustrating and distracting during gaming, I don't have black screens or crushes, everything is up to date, no virus.
Right now i have just add inside steam library game launch options the -forceactive command and I'm waiting to see if will it happen again...any suggestions? I play in fullscreen with no DX10(ultra) setting on,everything just high. |
It depends on what you mean by "future". People will play it as long as the servers stay up, but it won't grow, and there won't be a proper competitive scene.
I guess by saying it will not grow you mean if Relic continues to pay no attention to it? Right? Relic knows very well that paying attention to it might take people from CoH2 or releasing a new version of it HD(not referring to graphics) or something like that, some people will come back. I guess they focus on CoH2 now...but it wouldn't be any CoH2 if the original was not that good. When I say Future I mean what is going on with smoking gun, the game is as it is and that's it? |

Is there any Official - straight - simple answer to that?
We all see the road map of CoH2 and I wonder how much do we have to beg Relic to give us some answers about the ORIGINAL game.
Intentionally didn't mention about future updates or bug fixes or something because I don't want this to transform to a debate about what it needs to be done or not. I just ask about what they have in THEIR minds. |

I got this Relic servers message too, in the middle of a ranked game. Hope this happens to Coh2 cause if it's a Coh 1 only problem... no one will take care of this as always.

First of all welcome as a new Community Manager.
As the months passing by I saw :
1) Western front
2) Ardennes Assault
3)Patches, hotfixes and a lot of things for Coh2.
For me as for a lot other players that still play-support Coh1 not to die is there anything at all?
I mean do we have to ask like beggars for some updates?
Here is a list of possible changes:
1)Apply some balance fixes.Balance example(OP Staghound).
2)Fix some bugs that is true that we experience them for quite a long time.(Example: retreat bug, bug shoot from m10(Tommy and 12ocky fix this in the elite mod )
3)Add 2-3 new maps to automatch.(Example :Argentan crossroads, Bois du Chatelet)
4)Fix the loading screen rank and the leaderboards rank(max level is not 20 now)
5)Fix Lobby
At 30 of July Noun said " I'll pass on the requests (both for updates to the existing game and the HD version)".
Forget the HD version of it....any updates at all???

I just know that as a fan of games myself I tend to think that HD relaunches are kind of crappy except in situations where there's no longer a way to play an old game.
The Halo release for example is interesting because I don't have an original XBox anymore, and I've bought Mario 3 and Nintendo Ice Hockey for the Wii U because I don't own a NES.
Noun it's been a month now, can you please inform us what was Relic's reaction about these requests?
