I agree, this is the one thing that almost makes me quit playing coh2, bloberina shreckerino into tigerino oberino just breakes my balls. Sherman HE shells is fun but hey as long as they dont get whiped the OKW player is totally fine with some MP bleed. Me however? Not so much. Relic is retarded for not fixing this IMO |

*Coh vet from coh1, true american fanboy, never ever played axis seriously, and the other allied forces does not fit my taste.
*A year ago i was ranked just under 300 as USF in 1v1. Not sure what i am right now, but since im in the army atm I've had to step down i the ranks cuz of litle time to play.
*Always positive, i do not ragequit and i never let my enemies anger me more than they should. Keep calm and use smoke!
*Im Norwegian and my english skills are high, I use mic.
*I play all game modes, but ive been avoiding 3v3-4v4's cuz of lack of team mates that are reliable.
*I play alot, everyday when i get the chance.
*I use fair tactics and i love to work together with other players in order to achieve victory.

So, if tank could be captured with infantry of 3 lvl (now I understand why sometimes I couldnt capture it and why I successfully did it during last match). But its so difficult. If we dont have any vet infantry... But They have... LooooL... It makes everything much more difficult.
So, Thunderbolts is some kind if Imba. Could someone advice me good artillery doctrine for Wehrmacht? Not Close Air Support, there is useful only last ability. But they see red smoke and mooving away their forces.
And how I understand, I have to be more careful in CoH2...
Quety not easy to play, but its a interesting game.
Not vet 3 inf, just 3 MEN, meaning if u have a squad of grens with only 2 men left, you cant capture the tank. A tank requires 3 men to work. Driver, main gunner, machine gunner |

Conscripts opening, spam sandbags for IS, get shocks / guards,
some 120mm / Katyusha / ML20 into the mix for non stop barrage
then SU76 for cheap reliable AT
USA:
Spam Rifle blob with BAR or Flamer
Get some RE with double bazookas
mix some Pack Howitzer / optionally Priest
Spam M10 for cheap AT, or wait for Pershing
Jack of all trade Brits:
Build 3 IS + Snipers + Spam 6 Pounder
Spam Comet + Commandos for firepower
Spam Churchills with Anvil engineers for undead heavy tanks.
As axis, see how your MG gets pinned out of nowhere by pack howitzer,
your gren/PG/volks get melted by rifle blob
your elite infantry get sniped by half-squad in one volley.
while indirect fire rains dead from above on your paks and trucks and fortified positions.
And just when you get your precise tank out, can't get past 6 pounders wall.
get a heavy out? prepare to get sunk by M10 hordes, comets. + almighty Skillplanes!

Alright, grens are awesome, if u were to get 4 of each with lmgs u can fight rifles, cheaper, and more effectivly if u keep 2 of them together and focus fire, same thing with OKW, spam fusiliers and get them vetted. If your paks get grenaded to hell then get a fuckin stug or plant a god damn mine. MG42s are super awesome especially with vet, keep it alive and it shall punish rifle blobs quite severly. In 2v2, get elephant and jagdtiger (mix ost and okw) then cover with ostwinds. Basicly u can lock down the entire map like this if u also throw in some stugs to cover the flanks. brits has
The churchill yes, but its slow and remember best AT vs brits are stugs. And mines. And paks. Just play it correctly. Commandos are also shit, ive seen them loose to P grens... Also try some obers! YES I KNOW
THEY ARENT OP ANYMORE, but keep them going and they will be. As soon as they hit vet, that happens sooner than you think. |

I've played company of heroes since 2007 and i absolutely love both coh1 and coh2.I have played hundreds of hrs of coh2 and even tho i take som brakes from the game, i can honestly say that it is the BEST game ive played. I never seem to get tired of it. HOWEVER.
I am really dissapointed about the effort that has been made into patching and bringing new units into the game. It seems like they dont give a single F*** about the game when they release something, or at least, exreeemly lazy. I get a feeling that everytime they introduce something new, or they change something, that they just "guess" that its gonna be a good balance change or a fair unit to add. It doesnt seem like they bother testing it! And if they do test it, how can they possibly NOT see the issue?? I mean, at the beginning shock troops were just insanely OP as they could just walk up to anything and mow it down. It took them a good while to change it. Same with WFA with obers, they are practicly HALF the strenght they were at, but still, it took them SO long time to change it, and since it IS changed, that means that when relic released it, they couldnt figure out that the unit is almost twice as strong as it should be. Now, commandos. They were like shocks obers falls with camo ability, i cant even imagine how high they were when they decided that it was a good idea to add a unit that melts down 400mp units in 3 seconds at medium range.

Now, 2 months later(?) commandos are about half the strenght they were at. So that is relic saying; "Hey this unit has been twice as strong as it should have been for 2 months now, sorry!" I dont understand relic... you have such a great game at your hands, please be more serious about it. |
This existed when I played the game when it came out...
I seem to constantly have to re-click on a button, or make a deliberate click, to get an "effect". I want to quicly throw a grenade, click a tier and build a unit, something... and I realize I have not clicked the unit, it doesn't retreat, or throw a nade, etc if I did it with the speed with which I used in COH1.
In this game I have to mouse over something and then
....c l i c k..... carefully... m a y b e t w i c e...
and then throw the nade.
Is there some setting that is wrong? Is there some sort of lag? (For the record, I am in New York, not sure if that affects battle servers though it shouldn't.)
I had the same issue, just use shortcut instead, i bought a mouse that has alot of buttons on the side, there, i have retreat, reinforce, reverse, and all kinds of grenades and abilites. I simply had enough. |
