Hello guys,
lately the impression has arisen with me that the tiger has become as good as useless. Sure, the 88 cannon is strong against almost all tanks, but the armour itself is quickly running out against tank destroyers like M36, SU 85 and Firefly.
Basically you can use the Tiger as a medium killer or just a support Unit you have to protect with AT so that the tank destroyers do not follow. Against infantry, it feels like it is worse than a Panzer 4, which further weakens its original role as a generalist. I now almost always prefer the Panther, which costs much less fuel.
The doctrines with the Tiger have, in my opinion, lost in value. I don't want to complain because the Wher is currently not in the worst condition and there are many very strong non-doctrinal units. Nevertheless, I ask myself what place the Tiger currently finds in the game, I avoid it meanwhile and regret it almost always to bring it on the field.
What do you guys think about the Tiger? |
Hey guys, recently I used the RE Squads a lot, I think the rifle nades are very strong. I use to play 2 Rifles and 2 RE squads, I also see other ppl using them a lot, sometimes up to three squads. I mostly play team games 3v3, 4v4, mostly random. Sometimes for me,the new doctrine with the Nades, Rangers and the brutal Calliope feels too strong, because its wiping potential is very high.
My Builorder usually is like that 2x Rifle, 1x RE, Lt. - then 50 cal. or Stuart or both situationally, 1-2 Rangers if needed and after that straight to sherman with maybe a fuel outpost.
The RE squads with the nades can even face and kill mgs when they have cover - wehr grens loose half of their health if the nade hits them properly. Most of the games, i go straight to a sherman or jackson if needed, often not building a single pak - its risky but gives a high reward if executed properly and the mates are good.
What do you think about the doctrine and the playstyle? |

Would be very good. |
Honestly, I am quite happy with the new patch. And I think it is very cool that they made the new Commanders avialable for everybody. I have just little Issues with balancing, in general it is fine for me. Maybe OST is a little strong now, lots of their stuff got buffed.
Just one thing happened to me yesterday. In Hill 400, playing OKW, I was at the northern Fuel with a Tiger first, later a Panther, they were both nearly full health. Then US Guy send a P47 Rocket strafe and in a few seconds, Tiger was gone. Maybe it was just lucky rng but the same thing happened to my panther. Until that point I didnt lost any Squads, they were Vet 4 and 5, doing quite well the whole game but I was so pissed that I ragequitted, never do that usually. Feels like they buffed rocket strafe, not sure if its true. |
Hey guys,
recently I bought this new Lenovo Notebook for me. Its an E480 with the Intel i5-8250U, 8 GB Ram, 256 GB SSD and the Radeon RX 550. I have gone to the lowest settings possible - but still heavily lagging.
At the moment I play at 1024x768 with everything turned off /lowest settings - still got the problems. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Anyone got an Idea about it?
Maybe the Notebook is just too weak, heard about cooling/heat problems with this series.
I would be happy if someone could help me.

Hey guys,
my first time playing soviet tankhunter tactics. It worked quite well, destroyed some german armor. Its a lovely doctrine when it comes to counter german tanks. Maybe a little op. lel.
To be honest, I abused this doctrine a little, but only had 2 PTRS squads
I also used the salvage ability which is very good if you have problems with your manpower income.
Some facts :
-Axis were spamming lots of inf, made us trouble in the early game.
- Drawback when mate dropped, made me sad
- Early Stug grilled by a decent ZIS
- Two Wehr Tigers and a Kingtiger
- SU85 aka "Ze punisher"
- Trolling conscripts
- Fail AT-bombardments by Samson
- Lots of vetted cons
- 1 mad axis player

Hey guys, I think this is a well written guide. Mostly I agree with all your assesments. But I have one thing. I think Luftwaffen doctrine is a very good anti-inf doctrine. If you think about the issue with the nerfed obers, which also have to pay for their MG34 now, Fallschirmjagers are a good choice now.
I dont see any allied infantry which comes close to them if they are well placed and in cover. Their low health is a problem, but you can screen them with volks which also shouldnt have problems to counter tanks, because the munition you would otherwise spend on MG34 for Obers can be used for shreck.
The last ability, air assault, is good if you got lots of munition saved - its the only ability which gives you a squad for munition.
So far so good, just some theoretical thoughts which might be useless if RNG wipes Fallschrims and you get mad.

This patch looks promising. I hoped, they will make the IS-2 stronger vs German heavy Armour or buff the Zis-3 which cant penetrate the big ones frontal armour. Instead, they nerfed OKW, which isnt a bad idea. I also like the nerfed B4 - a pesky pay to win gadget from my point of view.
First thing I will try are the new guards. I never understood their role, somebody called them heavy infantry but they suck ass vs obers which are nerfed now . I think we will see guards a lot more often now. When will they adapt the changes ? |
Airstrike is so lovely. Bomb makes uber dmg. |

Thanks for your Answers! In the last games Ive seen a lot of players stacking the volks shreck bulletin, result was a giant shreck blob with sometimes 4 to 6 volks per player.
Another question: Does any of you guys use the SU-76 "Suchka" (little bitch) and if yes, how do you use it effectively. From my point of view, it just sucks and I see no point in using it, maybe the artillery fire is useful, but I already have the SIS-3 for that, what is basically the same weapon. |
