Being able to 1 shot a squad every few seconds is a hell of a lot more than 1 squad every minute and some change. The Sturmtiger isn't cheaper either; adjusted for the fuel disability the Sturmtiger costs as much as an ISU does ( 160*1.5=240). Funny thing about sturmtiger is it actually kills IS2 and ISU stupidly easy. Watched sib lose 2-3 IS2 to the sturmtiger the other day lol And I'm certain you can just drive right up to an ISU with rake tens and blast ISUs. JP4+ sturmtiger is just a dead ISU. The B4 wasnt mounted on a tank. You dont need range when its mobile. That makes it better for many reasons You can't just drive around were ever you want due to mines, enemy AT, ect. With the B4 you could shoot into the enemies base. Whats the first thing you do when you see a recon run and you have a stationary unit? You move. Artillery it when it reloads? All these suggestions are just ideal situations which will 98 out of 100 times never happen. How much have you used the Sturmtiger since the new patch? In: COH2 Balance |

I just have a hard time wrapping my head around the thought process of taking away precision shot from the b4 due to it's wiping potential, then buffing a unit who's entire schtick is wiping. The Sturmtiger doesn't have 250 range. Both these units are available at around 14 CP, if you can pull a Sturmtiger at 15 minutes how do you expect to not bleed to death by the time you need them? And the Sturmtiger comes at 11 CP. And CP is gathered fairly quick later into the game. It's like how Howitzers can be built at 8 CP and Stuka bombing strike doesn't unlock till 12 CP. Its something you need to experience vs a good player, proper AT support and Infi support and its untouchable. In a 1v1 environment its just a massive problem. Anything with proper AT and infantry support is untouchable. Surely the counter to a Commander unit shouldnt be locked into another commander? USF and Soviets both. Sadly this is how the game works. To counter artillery you HAVE to pick a commander with a counter as Axis or you will be fighting at a very severe disadvantage. Good commander counters are ones with artillery and bombing strikes that can kill the Sturmtiger while it's reloading. The Sturmtiger is a necessary evil, OKW has very little in the way of blob counters due to no non-doctrinal MG and the doctrinal MG being a popcorn sprayer. In: COH2 Balance |

50 cal crew is too weak, single grens grenade wipes it, obers or vetted volks killing it before it fires. Again, this is a problem with all 4 man MG's. Received Accuracy is a bad idea on MG's in the current meta. In: COH2 Balance |

.50 doesn't counter blob reliably, I have see too many squads (not even blobbing) entering its cone of fire and only being suppressed after 2 bursts. This can happen with every MG in the game, the .50 cal has very good suppression but if RNG jesus isn't with you then well.. At least now recrewing gives no received accuracy, so recrewed .50 cal's (especially with Pathfinders) are sex. In: COH2 Balance |

It locks you into an aggresively useless commander. If he has gone elite armor that means no Jadgtiger, no Fuss, no JLI, ect. Make use of the fact he will be relying on just Volks and Obers. If you want to sight it before it fires Pathfinders are excellent for the job, but I think your issues are more with USF being kinda eh in the meta right now as opposed to the Sturmtiger being to good. As soviets it's extremely easy to deal with, just got ISU or IS2 and he's fucked. In: COH2 Balance |

These are two very contradicting statements. When I watch some replays/cast I can see it killing entire armies. That's good! That's what it's supposed to do! Punish blobbers. As OKW doesn't really have anything else that can do so. And ST is B4 on wheels. Same AoE profile, precision strike, can shoot through FoW, can wipe entire army (weird you defend something what can wipe so many squads but you don't like B-4 killing stuff), can shoot through shotblockers. Except the Sturmtiger has a longer reload, much shorter range, a intense fuel cost, requires much more micro, comes in a buggy awful commander, ect. There are so many differences the fact you ignore them all and just directly compare the gun's shows you have very little experience actually using it. Your not going to be hitting a B4 in your opponents base with a Stuka. Also lol giving him free decrews to keep his popcap down. So you are fucked if you don't have dive bomb and it's the fault of B4 not you? Ah yes all those OKW doctrines with Stuka Dive Bomb So who I can blame if I go for reserved army and then I have nothing to counter Elephant? Elefant's counters are flanking, AT guns, and mines which are all non-doctrinal. It's not an anti-everything unit with 250 range. Also the ML-20 can be pretty scary to Elefants. ST needs no babysitting. Fire from FoG, back to base, reload. So in the end you keep an eye on it only once per 1-3mins. That's not babysitting. You have to carefully pick targets, sight for it, protect it's flanks with Ractkens and support. Also make sure when it's reloading it's not doing it close to buildings. Also you need to put it some were recon won't catch it so it gets arty'd or bombed. Using it is not as simple as you make it. If you were used to playing OKW at a high level you would understand this. Don't blame commander for bugs. lol I will blame Relic and their poor bug fixing all I want And those molotovs, can they give me 600MP? They can drastically reduce the popcap you pay for it giving you more MP income. Also Soviets don't really bleed that hard in the first place. What precision strike? There is no precision strike. There is direct shot for 90 ammo which cannot be used even through budling which already collapsed. They added the ability to shoot through shotblockers to it. 45range? And that's why it can move. Very slowly and unwieldy. Also predictably. ST is like B-4 on wheels. I don't think so Tim. Dude you have very little experience playing with OKW competitively. The Sturmtiger by far isn't very common at high levels of play because it locks you into a very shit commander and it's very map dependent. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Interesting Fun Fact: Spearhead actually makes the main gun of the KT worse as it gives it more scatter. Regular gun: Scatter angle: 4.0 Scatter distance: 4.0 AoE radius: 4.0 AoE far: 3.0 AoE mid: 2.0 AoE near: 1.0 Spearhead Gun: Scatter angle: 7.5 Scatter distance: 6.8 AoE radius: 4.0 AoE far: 3.0 AoE mid: 2.0 AoE near: 1.0 Literally the only difference is spearhead has worse scatter.
