When Im getting tips from player better than me, even if dont like them, I know they are better for a reason. But when Im getting tips from Jaigen or someone like Alexzandar and other people who are worse in all gamemodes than me its really annoying. Its like gym. When someone bigger and better built than you is giving you tips its ok but when someone new is doing this its not ok. If someone worse is giving you tips, why hes still worse? Short statement cause im mobile I'm not worse than you in ever game mode, I just don't play 1's because it bores me. Although it's adorable you seem to care so hard about it. Nobody is above criticism, nobody is above "tips". The only reason I care about the cards is to look at faction bias. People who heavily favour one over the other, whatever their skill, are less credible to me (as in listening to their views / advice) than those who play across factions. How credible they are should be directly related to the quality of their argument, not because they have a higher number on an internet document. Players need to play every single army (good amount) before posting their "balance" suggestions. I am sorry but if you only play OKW, you should not post apologetic rationale whenever a unit/Axis is criticized. If a person plays every faction, but they play one more, this doesn't mean they don't understand the other factions. If you want to know how to beat OKW, you need to know how to play OKW and visa versa. There's also the issue of people bitching about units when they haven't even really put in any effort to counter it. In: COH2 Gameplay

I think Stephen in some of his game built only one squad with no upgrade. Basically, Relic eliminated the whole ISU commander from competitive game at the moment. As of now, Cons with AT nades will do their job. Guards Mortar is still viable, but only for the 120MM and T-34/85s. The ISU-152 wasn't over nerfed, but it is in need of some love. Like better damage with the AP shells. I'd love for PTRS to receive either noticeable buff against infantry or deflection damage. Inb4 rampaging axis apoligists: You really have NO argument why allied doctrinal weapons should always perform worse then axis stock ones. The reason people don't think it should be better than the shrek is the time each comes in as well as the cost. In: COH2 Gameplay

I have little patience for your apologetic bullshit If the PTRS was buffed to have higher pen it would do more DPS than any hand held AT in the game. The reason it sucks atm is because 1. Guards don't like to actually fire it for some reason and 2. it can't pen anything bigger than a StuG/Ostwind reliably. Button needs some love, the PTRS needs some love. As for RNG, you must remember to sacrifice a goat before every game, or else your own plane will be shot down and crash on your retreat point filled with infantry... Soviets had 6 men squads to represent the numerical superiority of Soviet infantry, but now with OKW that makes no sense anymore. Honestly just having 5-6 man squads be standard across all factions would go a long way towards making things less RNG dependent. In: COH2 Balance

I thought they did because there were a couple of situations where i couldnt use them for some reason, oh well prolly game bugging around . Don't walk over mines either, always make sure you using attack ground to kill them. Iv wiped many an enemy squad because they though they were being a smart ass using a sweeper on my S mine fields. A mortar barrage makes quick work of such arrogance. In: COH2 Balance

You only do so with close combat troops as anything ranged will be put at a disadvantage. If the enemy did not move (either a. Does not suspect you to charge into the smoke or b. Is a team weapon) then you cut them down. If they did move, you just retreat back into the smoke; never you simply "die on the other side". Meant for shocks for obvious reasons, as long as they have 4 or more men alive. Smoke is the absolute best for capping a point or holding an objective and forcing the enemy to come to you. For instance, in a close game were VP's on both sides are getting extremely low smoke can be an excellent way to allow your troops to cap with impunity. Against skilled players the value of smoke for rushing positions drops off heavily mid to late game as they will have enough MG's covering each other that you will need a lot of smoke. Then that is a problem with everything that can squadwipe (and most importantly, CoH2 unit formation forever locked out of modding and out of the engine's league). Squad wiping early game isn't normally due to explosives gimping your bunched infantry (other than early nades), it's normally just due to unlucky RNG. I just feel like making the starting units more forgiving with their durability would be nice way to make early game less of an insane micro test. You can keep a squads DPS the same even if you increase the models, so I don't see why it's an issue. The "Axis 4 men Soviets 6 men" standard has been dead for a while, I fail to see why we need to stick to it In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Katyushka, Panzerwerfer & Walking Stuka vs Garrison6 Mar 2015, 18:14 PM You won't always actually pen a katyusha either, but I swear Relic did give the Stuka rockets some extra pen in a patch recently. The fastest way Iv always found to Vet my stuka's is go balls to the wall and keep it at your front, so the minute the enemy Katyusha starts firing you can return fire with your stuka. And why are you saying that you did not even flank it since one day you said that Jackson is not made to flank? The Jackson isn't meant to flank, it's meant to be highly mobile AT support for your infantry. The reason it has high damage is because it has a low chance to penetrate, hope this helps. Thread: Sturm pioneers are overpriced6 Mar 2015, 18:04 PM Sturms DPS falls off pretty hard when they move because they don't have the same bonus as the Pgren's StG44's do so if you want to kill a sturm at the start get him chasing you and just kill him with another infantry unit. Honestly all the starting units should get a 5th man and have their DPS kept the same, it's really dumb how lucky squad wipes can gimp you early game. In: COH2 Balance

I'm not too familiar with coh2 mechanics but does this lead to any differences overall damage? Almost all other explosives are modified on damage when it comes to garrisons (except Sturmtiger as far as I can see) Links to the pages if interested Katyushka Panzerwerfer Walking Stuka The reason the Stuka has less pen is because when it does pen an enemy tank it does a stupid amount of damage. As in if you get lucky you can kill 3 Katyushas in one barrage, and give your stuka insanely high vet because of the amount of damage you did to a fuel costing unit. In: COH2 Gameplay
