I fail to see how misremembering something that was actually in the game (but later removed) says that I'm always wrong. And it's funny to, since Iv not yet met a single other poster on this site willing to admit they are wrong, they will just fight to the death to try and prove themselves right. I had no idea your Thompson para's were engaging at that range, but with the smoke thing is that I almost never use it to assault enemy fortifications against good players since smoke is just a huge warning for them. Smoke spam is great for dealing with blobs tho, and ninja capping. In: COH2 Gameplay

A MG that gets smoked out if the player your fighting has half a clue? Ostheer just needs some love for blob countering, that's all. More durable grens is a part of that. In: COH2 Gameplay

You can't nerf USF, because they will be broken UP against OKW. You can't buff Ost, because it will overpower soviets. And both WFA armies having teching cheaper then a bag of dog food isn't helping here at all too. You need to nerf OKW first, then you'll be able to adjust USF. lol this train of logic. How about just buffing Ost versus USF? Because you can make Ost early game viable without knee capping soviets. The secret to game balance is buffing, not nerfing. Want to make USF better versus OKW? Make the USF mortar HT not shit, give the Jackson 160 damage but a higher ROF. Want to make Ost better versus USF? Give grens a 5th man keep the DPS the same and make the MG42 swivel faster. Smoke just allows you to make the unit not able to see you instead of rounding a corner. Throwing smoke forward and behind you is also a good way to trap players. In: COH2 Balance

There is a shitload of common bugs in the game that are still around for ~reasons~ considering it's fairly easy to reproduce them. And pathfinding is shit as a combination of bunching mechanics and EVERYTHING moving and sticking to cover, including tanks. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Next patch in March 31st7 Mar 2015, 04:35 AM The higher reload speed on the 57mm is what allows it to pen, if you have 2 you can put out a lot of DPS in a short amount of time. IIRC the ZiS used to have a suuuuper long reload time and it made it quite useless for a while till they changed it In: Lobby

Who has a smoke grenade thrown in front of them and thinks it's a good idea to move into the smoke? If you click on an enemy unit and tell it to attack, if smoke obscures the units sight and the player isn't paying attention the unit will run into the smoke. And if your capping a super important point normally the enemy will come to you to stop you since losing a unit is better than losing if it stalls the enemy. In: COH2 Balance

That thing? Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh What the American lacks in pure pen it gains in range/rof/and vet 0 turn on AP shells. And the ZiS has a 56% chance to pen the Panther. Also a Jackson penning a Panther is a big deal, because 240 damage takes a huge chunk out of the Panthers health. The reason AT guns are good against Panthers is because Panther's can't do shit against infantry and if your AT guns are getting erased by Obers stop sitting your AT guns infront your machine guns and infantry.
