2 times.
1) At the start of the game, where both IS-2 and T34/85 was a waste of resources.
2) When industry was at its prime.
And thats pretty much it.
Every single other time you've seen it was "because its stupid to go for same late game tier as dual sov" or someone did T-70 rush so he was forced for 34/76.
The T34's viability in smaller game modes is much larger because the late game is more delayed. The T34 doesn't really have any huge issues dealing with enemy mediums, it's problem is heavy tanks.
It being cheaper, and having a better ROF seems appropriate in light of the upcoming fun. |
It's original ROF, to a time it still wasn't popular. Or make other changes to make it better *beard scratch* yep that sounds better still.
The T34 has been popular several times in the past, just not in insane modes like 3v3 and 4v4. The original ROF would give it a good increase in DPS and a small price drop would go well with....
Damn you NDA! *shakes fist!* |
Making it come out 2 minuets sooner isn't going to solve much. It needs a Buff not a reversion to a time it still wasn't used much.
Did you not see were I mentioned returning it to it's original ROF? It would be a huge increase to it's DPS. |
Horse and cart was the Whermachts primary mover even in 44 Alex so guess we can change the half track to carts and use the history as justification right. Fact is the 76 is crap, and being stubborn about it is wonderful. And yes the OKW does have units that didn't see much deployment until late 44 early 45, wouldn't matter much if there wasn't so many soviet units and commanders that are unreliable, leaving us in call in land.
Nobody wants to go full Imperial Dane and have a Wehrmacht of nothing but StuG III's and horse drawn carts or T34's that fail half the time due to welding errors or poor crew training. Iv said in this very thread historical accuracy has nothing to do with unit performance.
I think the T34/76 needs a buff, it needs it's original ROF back and a slight cost decrease to 90 fuel.

Has nothing to do with Current factions. The number of USF players will dwindle severely. They will probably end up being the least used Allied Faction here pretty soon. Of course neither of us can go into anymore detail on the subject.
It's extremely obvious you didn't play in the Alpha when you make statements like this. Again; people have been chickenlittiling for every faction for every patch since literally forever and it's never come true that nobody plays a certain faction.
|
nope, just that nearly every allied ability is inferior to its axis counter part in terms of gameplay. same could be said about stock units also, and commander abilities.
Things that cost nothing tend to be worse than things that cost stuff ~the more you know~
|
Are we seriously now operating under the idea that USF smoke is bad? Because free smoke on your mainstay medium tank is pretty good. |
Doesnt matter if the USF have this ability or not. Soon youll never see people playing the USF again,
Just like how nobody ever plays OKW again after last patch right? |
then he uses blitz, reversing faster than a Jackson can accelerate, attack ground misses, paks creep up, tank gets away.
Sherman deploys smoke, takes too long, dies. Even if the smoke is use preemptively it isn't that good. it just warns ur opponent an attack is coming
The only thing that can blitz faster than a Jackson now is the PIV. And the reason the Sherman's smoke comes in slower is it can be fired essentially were every you want it meaning you have a lot more options with it, it also doesn't cost munitions. |
1941 soviets with literally THREE 1944 units vs 1944-45 units of three other armies.
Ostheer has literally no units from 1945, most of it's units are all from 1943 or before. USF units are all 1942-44, and the only 1945 unit OKW has are IR StG 44's.
EDIT: And again, historic realism/dates has nothing to do with unit performance, so uh..... |
