Heyo) I agree with some of your posts but can you say that conscripts and grenadiers are anti-tank? Those are the ones with the snares.
So, sure, shrekked Pgrens and zooka rifles should make a tank think twice but I don't think grens or cons should inspire fear.
Currently, grenspam and conspam (especially fkn conspam) are fairly feasible because tanks can't run ramshod over them even if they've been ueber-spammed. With this change, players will have to think "should I really go 7 conscripts?"
The whole point of basic infantry like cons and grens having snares was to make them more desirable later in the game were armor rules the battlefield and to prevent massive amounts of crush cheesing.
Yes a tank should have to put more thought into it's driving (especially heavy ones) then just A move into the enemy lines because you can moon walk back out.
EDIT: Honestly I would be happy if they just out right removed infantry based snares and made AT nades/fausts do a FUCK ton of damage (but have very short range) so if you let infantry get up close and personal with your tanks you would be punished. |
It was op in alpha
there will be some nurf threads
Good thing the changes being done to it are not the changes done in the alpha. |
Play USF once before making incorrect statements..
The M3 nor the Ambulance are armored, they take significant damage from small arms which the Ostheer HT can resist and the Soviet M5 can outright ignore. |
Infantry should be afraid of tanks
Not the other way around
Actually tanks should be scared of AT infantry, considering what's the point of AT infantry unless they can counter their intended targets? |
Yep, FRP eliminates strategic play, rewards blobing and gives free map control. Lost engagement? Np, with FRP your squads would be back in action in seconds. Suppressed? Same. Successful push or flank forced all your AT off the field? Those tanks better hurry up if they want inflict any damage to that flak truck near med HQ.
Other solution is to increase counters to forward retreats. Sadly, Relic decide to go other way and remove precision stike from kat this patch.
You know creeping barrage is a way more powerful ability than precision strike right? It fires it's full rocket load accurately over a larger area instead one tiny area.
Outright removing FRP isnt all that great either, especially for OKW.
Pretty much, in 2's OKW relies heavily on FRP to maintain map presence early in the game when their infantry is very handily outclassed. Not to mention the fact that OKW and USF lack armored mobile reinforcement options like Ostheer and Soviets have. |
Your attempt at undermining the factual validity with what I said with cheesy humor only proves that you are imature and lack the ability to critically think. Now I'll tell you something that really is funny: when people break legal contracts and could risk severe consequences with the judicial system and their peers think it's all "a joke" and only showcase their absolute stupidity (Ha ha, see? Funny!).
I didn't think in the year of our lord 2015 someone would say that the NDA police are going to get you but here we are. |
Well, regardless of this is true or not, it is strictly against the guidelines and NDA that you signed to participate in the Alpha to leak and/or disclose the information you previewed by engaging in it. Not trying to nag, but there can be serious repercussions for it. I was in the Alpha too, but that doesn't mean if I see something really cool/notable, that it provides me the justification to go and freerange what went on within said Alpha. That is why it is only available to a small test group and not the entire player base.
Man you know shit's going south when Relic employs have to post on their non-relic accounts to try and get people to listen to them about the NDA. |
You will end with 1 dead SU-76 and 2 Pz.IV alive pulling back under cover of smoke.
Have you tried using the things 60 range? 3 shots of 120 damage means one of his PIV's will be almost dead in the first volley. And you can use attack ground to negate his smoke.
Like take it from someone who's actually used the "new" SU-76, it's a pretty big terror to medium armor with that 60 range and high speed. |
And what about USF players? The Stug G will now hard counter Shermans with its high ROF, forcing 1-2 Jacksons on the field. In the alpha, the Stug G was increased to 95 fu to compensate for its increased power. This has not happened in the live build for whatever reason. I'm not saying that the Stug G is OP, but its timing and cost effectiveness is questionable at it current cost.
Except the USF AT gun will works excellent against it because of it's low armor. And remember that Ostheer teching in the alpha was cheaper to and USF teching was much more expensive meaning that Shermans came way after StuG III's hit the field.
With the current teching prices the StuG III will hit the field after it's counters do.
EDIT: And they increased the price of the StuG to 90 fuel. |

Nobody has made the claim that Allied players don't have to fight abusive strats, but the reason you see a lot of good player upset about Guard Motor going totally untouched is because it's a huge headache to play against because it's stupid easy to use allowing unskilled players to punch waaaay above their rank.
To knock down Tiger spam abuse, and IS2 spam abuse (call in meta essentially) but totally fail to address "call in meta" the commander is kinda stupid. The 120 nerf is fairly easily compensated for with how much cheaper it became and the fact it will still wipe slightly damaged squads pretty reliably.
