Thread: Soviet T3 need cost increase or Ost T3 cost reduction!22 Jul 2015, 01:29 AM Jump back to quoted post22 Jul 2015, 01:26 AMOmega_Warrior Yeah I still haven't experienced the match-up first hand, but from what people are saying it seems like simply reducing it's penetration so it doesn't chew through 222s so quickly would allow ostheer to have a way of countering it proactively rather then only being forced to be reactive with infantry AT. And all the other match-ups would remain pretty much the same. You would need to reduce the pen to next to nothing to have any effect because the 222 has really really thin armor. A better suggestion would be to give the 222 more health to make it more tanky. In: COH2 Balance

When that P4 comes out, Soviet player is SOL cause he will only have an AT gun as hard counter. Whermacht player can hold off with Pak, PGs and Grens and not to mention teller mines until T3. But yes I concede, the scout car could use a bit of a punch against light vehicles. And the Ostheer player is paying waaaaaay more than what the Soviet player payed for the T-70. The whole issue is that USF and Soviets can get light vehicles out ridiculously fast and punish Ostheer due to the fact Ostheer is a slow to tech faction. OKW can kinda handle with a quick JPIV and the Rackten + cheap mines. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Minor issues that should be fixed21 Jul 2015, 21:45 PM Some notes to add to what Cruzz has said; -Anyone can recrew the Tiger Ace, but it WILL annihilate your fuel/MP income regardless of the faction you crew it with. You can also turn it into a vet farm for USF vehicle crews. If it's abandoned recrewing it may do you far more harm than good if you are low on MP and fuel. (The penalties also stack with the OKW income disabilities as well) -Sturmtiger doesn't destroy weapons anymore since they change it so a crew weapon will only die AFTER it's crew has died. This is pretty significant since it's best use is for killing enemy weapon teams like AT gun walls. -Shooting a Sturmtiger while on an incline creates really inconsistent results so something is probably wrong -East German Puma's get +40 damage at Vet 3, this affects the Coaxial MG42 giving it depleted uranium rounds. (44 damage per bullet) -Hulldown seems to make tanks P47 proof. Every time Iv used the abilities P47's have done basically no damage to my tanks. -If a Sturmtiger is abandoned and then recrewed it will instantly reload. -Sometimes infantry will bump into each other will retreating to your Battlegroup HQ and just dance around retreating in front of it until your disable the retreat point. -Crawlers detonate mines, meaning that an errant one can waste your investment or even blow up a mine on top of your troops -Plane crashes are still really fucking deadly -ISG will sometimes just shoot strait up into the air -Riflenades sometimes just never fire Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. But yes I don't know what the exact meta for 1's is but I know in 2's I would much rather have HEAT shells and the new Sturmtiger than well, Fallsch and an MG34. Valiant Assault is still bugged and doesn't work In: COH2 Gameplay

As much as it would be painful for me to part with my 4 Jadgtiger Cool Down bulletins >.> On a side note; what bulletins do you think would be the most worthwhile to buy if you had free reign to pick up some? -Panzershrek cost reduction bulletins -Mine cost reduction (for soviet and ostheer) -MG42 ROF increase bulletins -Armor for Panther Bulletins -Armor for OKW PIV bulletins -grenade range for USF just to name a few.
