Did the math. I tested with con's and it seemed like reload with cons was slightly better than cooldown. Did you also crunch the numbers for cons? I tested by attack-moving blobs into each other, and every time that a test was flawed (like models from one squad finding nearby cover), the flaw in the test overwhelmed the difference in the bulletins. My favorite bulletins are the 3% JT penetration bulletin, and the 1% accuracy and 2% cooldown RE bulletin, for equal and opposite reasons. In: COH2 Gameplay |

ISG and Pack Howie are nuts at the moment. Too reliable accuracy and suppression, it often pins as well. The ISG range at vet 1 becomes just ridiculous. It doesnt need the +15 range at all. Agree In addition, USF - buff the Sherman Bulldozer, main gun was nerfed at some point and doesn't seem to do a lot, should also have more hit points or better armor USF - better received accuracy for assault engineers, 280 mp for a really fragile unit means that you have to pay a lot for a unit that has probably less utility than a 160 mp Ost pioneer. USF- let IR pathfinders drop arty at max vision - they now have to walk into the Panzer Schwerer's range to drop arty on it USF- either give fighting position some hp and smaller hit size, or reduce the cost to the number of seconds that it lasts once a P4 starts shooting at it (8-12). This would really help late game holding ability. Also, make it so grenades don't wipe squad inside fighting position OKW- make upgrade choice between shrek and lmg for Volks(if you have a bad start in 1v1, can be very difficult to get Obers out) OKW- buff Falls (really seem to underwhelm against UKF) OKW- range or something for raketenwerfer - is really annoying to dominate a game then have Croc come out at 30 minute and completely change the game OKW- make smoke available to help with maxim spam In: COH2 Balance |

spotting scopes may fit the commander theme but would be overkill with vision rifles, ir pathfinders having great vision and recon run. No, it wouldn't be overkill. IR pathfinders have, at best, slightly less vision than Panzerfusiliers. They cost 210 mp and 6 pop cap for a unit with no combat abilities. Panzerfusiliers have six models, are difficult to wipe, and only 7 pop cap, all for only 80 more manpower than the IR pathfinders. The "forward observer" gives vision benefits in heavy cover that are about 15 less range than the Panzerfusilier. The armored car has the same sight range as a kubelwagen. Yes, it's a lot more survivable, but it means one more thing to micro in order to use effectively. In short, the "recon company" has less recon ability than either Breakthrough or Scavenge, with nothing like a JT, cheap grenades with no tech cost, scavenge, or flakpanzer IV to make up for it. Not to mention the almost map-hack IR truck, spotting scopes for Ost, etc. It's still fun to play, but mostly against OKW (double pack-howie barrage plus IR arty = goodbye truck) in smaller games. By the way, if anyone watches the replays, you'll see examples of squads losing the forward observer ability without losing all of the squad members. I'm pretty sure that it is given to only one model, and if that one is killed, the ability is gone. In: COH2 Bugs |

The LeIG has direct fire scatter that is so low that it nearly always damages a Brit sniper in testing, when direct firing. It occasionally hits directly and 1-shots a sniper. It shouldn't be that accurate. The pak howie isn't as accurate, but the damage radius is bigger and it seems to kill more stuff overall. Both are too strong. In: COH2 Balance |

The Forward Observer squad loses the ability, and then is like a plain rifle squad after that. In the course of a normal match, there is a near certainty that the ability will be lost if the squad is used. There are lots of theories why. I used a modified Kepner Tragoe to test all theories that I found here plus ones that I developed. The vision bonus can be lost losing 1, 2, 3, or 4 models in a squad. It was lost both with, and without the ability active during the start of combat. It was lost both with and without the squad shooting back. In a couple hours of testing, I did not see it lost without losing at least one model. In multiple cases, I saw the ability lost with the loss of one specific model. Based on this, I think the ability was given to only one specific model in the squad and if that model is lost, the ability is lost permanently. Thank you for reading this thread. In: COH2 Bugs |

LEIG - When it snipes snipers, the accuracy is not okay. I've played Brits 3 times, and in two of the games lost a sniper to the LeIG. Maybe RNG hates me, but I doubt it hates me a lot more than anyone else. In: COH2 Balance |

Honestly I'm in favor a hotfix to it ASAP just because I want to see how low we can get the OKW win rate too once this crutch is removed. Or Air Superiority and the Croc Churchill could also get balanced, both of which have a much bigger effect on win rates..... In: COH2 Balance |
